An den Tischen auf der Straße oder hinten im Biergarten sitze ich gerne. Hier gibt es immer was zu gucken und zu hören :) Positiv ist auch, dass hier Fußballspiele gezeigt werden, besonders auch die des 1. FC Köln. Da kommt dann richtig Stimmung auf. Was meines Erachtens gar nicht geht, ist leider das Essen. Es ist - man muss es so hart formulieren - ein Totalausfall. Deshalb gibt es auch nur zwei Sterne. Es ist so schade, dass in dieser an sich netten Kneipe, so nachlässig damit umgegangen wird ...

Won't spend too much on this review but I dined at this authentic looking pub with colleagues this…read moreweek as out-of-towers attending the MEDICA conference in Düsseldorf. This had high ratings so obviously as the American savvy foodie, I took to yelp to get the key of the land. The best aspects of this bar is the decor, a lot of locals so you feel immersed in small town Germany culture. The local beer gaffel kolsch is pretty much the go to beer and is delightfully fresh light and the right amount of malt/hops ratio. This is a special brew local to cologne so try it out. Unfortunately I can't add stars because this place didn't produce the brew. So food.... I'm just going to say it is subpar to standard pub fare and would not come back unless I was a drunk mess.
