The city of Brasília ain't that old, more or less 50 years by now. This place, Beirute, has been here almost as long as the city, so they must be doing something right, right?
Beirute, as the name suggests, is a Lebanese place...but with a Brazilian twist. In fact, this place is another testimonial for the Brazilian ingenuity of incorporating different cultures into their repertoire and giving it a unique - Brazilian - twist.
We ordered a plate with the following: beef steak with onions, rice, fries and farofa de ovo (cassava with egg). This, obviously, is the more Brazilian site of the menu, but you can also order more Lebanese dishes. This plate was so huge, it easily fed the two of us and we still had leftovers.
Needless to say, you should order an ice cold beer (or two;-) with your order and simply enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. To make the most of this place: bring along all your friends and hang out until the wee hours of the morning! read more
