Hate to do this. But a few years ago I had Domenic and his crew install a new oil heater in my home in Queens. 3 years later during the month of February. I lost heat. Obviously it's been a few years since they installed the boiler. So I don't blame them. I understand machinery breaks down. So, I texted Domenic and called him. No answer to either my texts or phone calls. Mind you at this time I had a 6 month old child and it was a cold February. Finally, by using a friends phone he picked up. I explained what was going on. How I had no heat. His answer, sorry. I don't service Queens anymore. He says he did not renew his NYC license. I asked if he knew someone that could help me out to which he said no. I have been dealing with Bel-Mar Oil since I bought my house in Baldwin since 1979. I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM with them. I have had problems with my oil burner and they came as soon as they could at ALL hours of the day and night. Four years ago I had to replace my burner had to make a decision oil or gas the decision was EASY even though people tried to tell me different. I went with OIL because I knew what kind of people I was dealing with!!! They have been in my corner for many years have helped me stay afloat in more ways then ONE!!! I respect the DeNapoli family for there hard work from Mr.D(may he RIP) he taught his boys well. Now Mrs.D has the the lead !! Excellent! So far they have always been quick to deliver & reasonably priced! No complaints, I usually use CODFUEL.com to order but may be getting a contract with them for the upcoming season. My burner mechanic said the fuel looks clean which to me means they maintain their trucks clean out the tanks & drain water. read more

Dominic and Mike replaced the gas furnace and gas hot water heater at my mother's home in East Meadow. Both were trustworthy professionals and worked efficiently. Since the original units were old, they replaced pipes, lines and switches, as well. They were courteous to my elderly mother, and left her home as neat as it had been before the extensive work. I order heating oil from them occasionally, since I'm not tied to a seasonal contract. But the last time I ordered from them, they damaged the hood of my car. The driver double parked his truck(as most of them have to do) alongside my car. Then he pulled out the long and heavy hose to bring to the side of my house. But in doing so, he dragged it along the hood of my car!!. Of course it scratched up the hood. I called the office to complain about this, and of course he didn't believe me, even saying that even if he did it, the hose is soft anyway and wouldn't scratch the car. Well the hose is always being dragged on the ground, it's heavy and picks up pebbles and dirt along the way. So he kept denying that his driver would even have done it, until I told him that I have video of him doing it, since I have a surveillance camera facing the street. AHA! So he asked for the video, since he STILL wouldn't trust me, and I emailed it to him along with pictures of the hood that clearly show all the scratches. I get a call back and he apologizes for the driver and said "what else do you want from us, like a $10 or $15 credit on the next order? I was incredulous! Really?? If I did that to your car and offered you $10, would you be happy with that? I didn't think so! I said just forget it and haven't ordered from them since. First they don't believe me, then they insult me. I'll give my $500 orders of oil to anyone else except them. read more
