She explained the process and steps so well (and without anything feeling overwhelming) that I instantly knew I'd found my newest hobby! Thanks to Diana's lesson I was able to make a mug and I'm so proud that I made anything at all, let alone a mug (which I've used everyday now)! The studio is absolutely gorgeous so charming - it has such a calm, welcoming vibe. Mike and Diana are so welcoming and approachable, and have clearly created a space that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in and it feels like the kind of place where you immediately want to stay and keep creating. They also have an incredible selection of glazes, tools, and beautiful handmade pieces and gifts in the shop. Mike and Diana were so kind and knowledgeable as I asked millions of questions on what the different tools were used for, it's really cool that they have such a variety. We tried to get a large group together, it was a Christmas gift. It took a while to get so many people together at once but finally my cousin did. When we booked it we found out there was another party that afternoon. We contacted the owner and wanted to know if we could book another time since there was so many of us going. She replied she couldn't accommodate us because it was a groupon and wouldn't make any money off of it. We explained how hard it was to get everyone together so she grudgingly told us we could go the morning before the other party. However when we found out three out of the many couldn't make it but the rest of us still wanted to go, she gave us a hard time because the number change but when we said we could keep the same number by bringing someone else, she refused to help accommodate us and so we had to cancel all together. awful I had talked to Labontes on two different dates…read moreoccasions. First one said I could transfer no issues for my daughters online classes But she needs to finish them. Second one stated that it's best if I do the iniine class due to it coasting $25 with Labontes and it's free for tda. Today o called to tranafer and the lady told me o now have to pay a $55 fee. I didn't have the money today to pay it. I am a single mom fighting cancer and explained that. I asked for a manager, she would not stop being confrontational. she hung up on me and was so rude. The lady would not let me leave my number for a manger and would not stop yelling and attacking me. How do you Run a business treating people like dirt. Very sad as I did hear positive things .
