My husband attended here about 4yrs ago for treatment of sciatica. He had paid for a block of 6 treatments but had only used 4, when I rang up to enquire they said remaining treatments were still valid and as his wife was welcome to use them, and could get an appointment the following day. I arrived at my appointment a little early and was warmly welcomed by Cathy. She asked me to complete a short form with my contact details. On entering the treatment room she asked about my medical history, current problems, felt radial pulse in both wrists and looked at my tongue. I was then asked to remove my trousers and lie on my side on the comfortable bed. Insertion of needles was quick, most I didn't feel although some gave a bit of a sting. About 20needles were inserted into my back and leg, a heat lamp was placed near my back and I was left to lie for about 30mins listening to some twinkly music. Cathy popped in a few times to check on me but I felt so relaxed I actually dosed off for a few minutes. The sensation was strange, my legs felt really heavy and afterwards I did feel more relaxed. As for my back pain I did find movement a bit easier and pain slightly reduced, don't know how much was down to the acupuncture itself but certainly relaxation would have helped.

For obvious reasons i want to remain anonymous and the purpose of this review is to prevent more women from going through what I was put through and what I have heard other women have gone through. Here are the details of the horrible experience: I went to Tony for a sports massage which involved a back, shoulder, neck and pec massage. I have been for hundreds of massages in my life, both sports and therapeutic and know what to expect from each. The massage started off with my back and neck which was ok, and then my pecs. Initially he started of within the appropriate boundaries for pec massage, but later started 'massaging' my breast (he got as low as just above my nipple and the top of my nipple was revealed). I then told him that that area does not need massaged ie telling him to stop, after which his response was to laugh. At this point I was afraid and did not know what to do and thought that by warning him off once he will not do it again and will be more professional. He stopped temporarily but then returned to the area repeatedly. This happened at least 3-4 times, each time I told him no. His approach was different at each attempt. ( He approached from the armpit down to the lateral side of my breast just next to my nipple, and the other approach was he massaged from the front and subtly cupped my breast). All of these approaches were subtle, but obviously crossing the line as these areas are definitely no go areas during any massage. This was a traumatising and distressing situation of which I did not know how to react to. It took me months to write this review as I have been chatting to other sports therapists and trainers whose customers have reported similar experiences to them while dealing with Tony. This made me realise that its important for me to say something. I'm from Belfast, not San Francisco as yelp seems to think btw.

I…read morestarted working with Jeff, who is very professional and caring, and the best physio I have ever used and I have used more than several over the years. He assessed me and discussed the programme for my recovery. I felt the progress from every physio session. By the end of the treatment I had regained 100% full range of motion in my broken shoulder, and full strength. I did the exercises Jeff told me to do in between sessions but I know the reason I made a complete recovery was because of Jeff's skill and knowledge as a physio. If I could give him more stars I would.

Thankfully this osteopath's has always been there to crack me back into place. The staff are really knowledgeable, and thanks to their sporting background have seen pretty much every joint or back injury imaginable. I have gone with back problems, wrist injuries, knuckle injuries and other sporting injures that they were able to sort out for me, which is so much better than relying on a GP to give me some painkillers.

The other half was suffering from a really bad case of vertigo, and almost at the end of his tether I took him here to see if chiropractic could help. The waiting room and receptionist were both warm and friendly, and then off we went to see Dr. Nic. He was really thorough, talking the OH through his whole health history, taking Xrays and being really sympathetic. He then gave him an adjustment and sent him on his way with some good advice and exercises to do at home. The whole treatment took 3 sessions, and the results were amazing, so good to even knock the scepticism out of me. I hope I continue to enjoy good health, but the moment I don't I'll be knocking on Dr. Nic's door, and so should you. :-)

The physio staff and reception staff are lovely and make you feel very comfortable. The service provided was top class and I have and would recommend it to anyone. Though my only experience here was on my way back from a jog that went marginally wrong and involved me hobbling back rather than running as I had originally planned. I called in here to see what the nice people recommended as I had no painkillers or bandages in my house. I got some anti-inflammatory cream which worked a treat and dose of painkillers for good measure. I'm all for alternative medicine if it works. The cream, though helpful, was nearly £10 and for the one occasion I used it, I felt a bit stupid. It was the most expensive jog I've been on but my foot has never looked so good.

I left with two things. The first thing was a prescription for herbal tablets to improve my sinus condition (expensive and didn't work - not a happy bunny.) The second thing was a new, fixed 'unclicky' jaw bone. Sounds weird, but he seems to have some knowledge of how to manipulate bones if they are troubling you - I'm sure there is some medical name for it but I've no idea. All I know is before I went in, my jaw would click like mad when I was eating, and after I left, no more clicking! Now, it was kind of weird - I thought he was going to choke me, as the manoevure involved putting me in a headlock type position, but it really did work! Now, I imagine if I had been able to afford to repeat the prescription for the herbal tablets, they may have helped me - but it was too pricey for me to maintain each month. I do know many people whom Framar have helped considerably, though. And on the plus side, I can now eat my dinner without the sound of drums...

There's a cracker fella there called David that does the best sports massages in the city, I've also tested out the Thai massage too and it was really good for heavy tension pains which i get quite a lot from work. The Clinic is reasonably priced, has private parking and the staff are very friendly.
