It has the feel of TJ Maxx or Marshall. That can be nice sometimes, but I personally wouldn't drive to it again. It does have a really large collection, especially of shirts and pants. I did find that the type of "look" seemed to target a different demographic, so I had trouble finding clothes that I liked. When I looked at the tags, most of the clothing was made in China though, so I'm not sure how long it will last. There were a couple of sections with actual Dillards brands, and they were nicer (in my opinion), but then the prices were more like going to the Mall, so I don't really have a need to drive there. If I lived in High Point, I'd probably visit from time to time, but it's not worth the visit from Winston.

They had a lot of racks full of clothes. Surprisingly all of it was very neat. I rated this a 3 because it wasn't my cup of tea, but I can imagine folks who like to pick through racks of clothing would find this place a hidden gem. Plus none of the clothing were my style. I saw ladies with carts full of clothing. The store had great deals and they were loading up. It is attached to an abandoned mall so the visuals are very old and dated. There is plenty of parking and lots of room that you aren't on top of each other. Those who like to dig for treasure. Have fun exploring!

This certainly isn't a store I shop at regularly by any means, but it's a great place to get heavily discounted items, snacks, cheap gifts for the holidays. We popped in real quick when we saw they were opened, and got a few things. But, just like before, they offer everything for food, to house wares and decor, to cleaning and gardening supplies, again, and heavily discounted prices. Perhaps everything is not the best quality, but for what it is, it's worth checking out. One downside is, the selection is constantly changing based on what they buy at closeout pricing, so if you see sometime, that's the time to get it, because it may not be there next time you visit. The staff is a bit of a hit or miss, it's clear they don't love their job, but need the pay check, so take everything for what it is, and don't expect the cheeriest of employees when you visit.

If you have never been to a Hamrick's, the main feature is economy pricing on clothing. They have a large ladies department, with a fairly good sized men's department as well. There are also departments for home decor, kitchen, and "as seen on tv" gadgets. I found a few things, such as men's undershirts that were at a good discount. Check out employees were prompt, polite, and professional. Another nice feature is a seating area for tired shoppers (or husbands that got dragged into the store!)

The main purpose for this visit was to exchange the item. Inside, I ended up browsing. The layout is much different from Winston. None of us, it is a large store. I found the item to return/exchange. Their return and exchange policy says items can be returned or exchanged within 60 days with their receipt. Unfortunately, I was maybe a week past six today, Mark. However, I was able to exchange it utilizing the no receipt option. The cashier was friendly & patient. While there, I did get a few more battery operated lights in preparation for hurricane season. I also saw some seat covers for my couch and recliner. However, they were too small and I need to go back and return them. I will be sure to do so before 60 days so that I can get a refund. Check out wasn't that bad. Overall, not a bad experience. They have so much items across various departments. If you haven't been to a location yet, you need to go.

Down behind the now defunct…read moreOak Hollow Mall, I think a lot of the world forgets this one is there, so it's usually never too crowded, easy to get in and out of and carries the same selection of anything you'd get at any other Target. The staff is friendly and always able to help, they even have a full pharmacy (cvs) on site and a Starbucks. The pricing is the same as any other in the area, and great for everything on your list from clothing to home goods, to groceries or electronics. I've been many times and will be again...only times you want to avoid this spot are during Furniture Market or HPU move in weekend...otherwise, slip the crowds, save your sanity and shop here

Walking in, I was a bit in awe, they truest have a lot to offer, everything from party supplies to home decor, plenty of candy and snack options to please even the pickiest of junk food eaters, they have storage and kitchen items, pet toys and supplies, greeting cards, board games and so much more! This store is packed with all kinds of items, at surprisingly low prices. It's a great spot to hit for small gifts or stocking stuffers, all kinds of items, sure to appeal to anyone. Staff was friendly, and check out seems to be self serve. Good first impression and somewhere I'll be coming back to check out again.

These days, the doors at one end of the store are no longer in use, everyone must enter at the right end of the store. Kohls is now sharing the storefront with Sephora's name as well. The unfortunate thing was that in addition to the young lady who was ringing up all of the customers, there was another young lady behind the other counter, but she did not see the concern of the growing line. Her focus was to simply continue, adding antitheft tags to all of the clothes. She could've in my opinion, easily stopped, rang up a few customers and brought the line down to help us get in and out faster. That was not her goal. I think this should be taken into consideration by upper management with the Ross corporation. You definitely do not want customers walking out without making their purchases as that means the business loses profit.

My mom had thought I was in the changing room, so she goes to look and the lady working there started to yell at my mom and she berated her. My mom was very reasonably confused, she tried to explain with the little English she had that she just wanted to look for her daughter. Even a few customers behind her decided to chime in and defend my mom, but the lady wouldn't listen. I really hope that this establishment deals with this worker and I also hope she has not treated anyone else this way either. The store is a total mess, with clothes, shoes, home goods and everything in between scattered all over the floor. If you do find garments hanging, they are in the wrong place as far as sizing goes. When I finally had had enough this morning, I drove straight to Burlington Outlet Store in the same shopping area where shopping was a pure pleasure. Ross at Bridford Pky. will never have my business again. I will, however, continue shopping at Ross in Myrtle Beach, SC where they are proud of their store and value their customers.

The most frustrating aspect is customer service which lacks at most Targets. They are more concerned with stocking shelves than answering questions. Also the lack of service is evidenced by the self checkouts which are 90% it seems. I will be honest, I don't like them. Bottomline I like Targets wide selections, goods and prices. They have a few areas that annoys me, but they are better than the alternative.
