The store is sectioned nicely with kind of an organized chaos feel. Every section is crammed full of items so sometimes it can take some digging to find what you're looking for, but that's part of the fun. Checkout is usually quick even if the line is long, and they have an automated voice telling you which cashier to go to when it's your turn. I always enjoy checking out the skincare, purses, and random food section for hidden gems.

At worst, Walls is a kind of dirty liquidator-type-ish store with silly merchandise and staff who can be kind of cranky (hey, they're dealing with some weird customers...). At best, it's full of things I really want and I end up paying way less than I'd pay elsewhere. Recently, they had a bed bath & beyond set of merchandise. I got lots of kitchen stuff including a popcorn maker, pots and pans, grilling implements, and a dish rack all for less than half of the original price! They've also had things from urban outfitters, big department stores, and country-western wear stores. Just make sure you know what you're buying, not everything is the greatest deal ever... I wouldn't recommend buying computers, software, or food items here. Purchasing cosmetics or personal care items might be sketchy here. As I mention, the store is pretty dirty/warehousey, especially compared to a department store or even a target. So, I usually stick to buying things I can wash (clothing, durable goods). Also, if you do use their fitting rooms, the women's one is pretty dusty/dirty and very small. Don't expect to be able to put your own clothes on any clean surface while you're trying their clothes on. Use a hanger!

There are definite sections in this store, so it's not like a giant garage sale. When this store opened there were a ton of discounted designer bags. As time went on those brands slowly disappeared, but I found out they bring those bags specifically to newly opened stores to build business, then they slowly trickle them out. The handbag selection they have is still nice though. They also carry tons of shoes, luggage, bedding, home goods, kitchen supplies, baby toys and clothes, perfume...tons of stuff, all at a decent price. The workers aren't really that friendly, but there's no telling what they have to put up with from their customers (it is a college town after all). Definitely a great addition to Stillwater.

While in Stillwater over a couple of days, we found ourselves dropping in on 3 different occasions. That's more than I've been to Walmart all year. This one is clean, well organized and well maintained. Compared to the ones in Owasso and Tulsa, this one had an almost 'upscale' vibe to it. Can't believe I actually said that, but it's true. People were friendly, shelves were well stocked with everything. It looked like a model store or something. If Tulsa Walmarts were like this one, I might actually not mind going more often.
