Based on my experience-GET a consultation meeting BEFORE you go in. I went in for filler. When she came in she immediately said, you need Botox and started injecting without me agreeing. To be fair, I might have said yes, meaning that I knew that. Anyway, I was injected in places I do not care about ie: jaw line. *They only carry Jeverderm products.* I told them I used another product. They assured me Jeverderm would give the same results. NO, it didn't. All the Lip lines were not affected by the injections. Very disappointing. They did comp one vial of Jeverderm because of my dissatisfaction. It still was not the results I usually get. It was uncomfortable and a little intimidating. I did not feel part of the process. I emailed the owner about me experience, but three business days later, and I still have no response from her. So here I am... I felt scammed and taken advantage of and left me no choice but have to pay what I paid, when there was no clear communication about the price. I brought a friend with me, and I went first. They did go over the pricing for me and I signed the paper before they injected me with anything. When my friend went who only wanted her forehead done and I was paying for ,they did not go over pricing and she did not sign anything beforehand. She signed nothing so she was unaware of the cost, as was I. So we were blindsided by a $415 bill. I feel this was nothing but a money grab. And I'm very disheartened by my experience. read more

just now NEW I should've read the Yelp reviews first before going. Many on Yelp say exactly how I felt a money scam. I've been getting Botox for years and this injector tried telling me that I needed much more like an extensive amount more vs what I normally get. She tried to give me her experience speech, but I wasn't impressed at all. I actually called my out of state Botox injector and she was stunned that they wanted to inject me with triple the units I normally get. I prefer a natural look vs what they are telling to sell and btw the injector looked like the product she was trying pto sell me. Refuse to go this location EVER again. This pains me to write this review because I've had a very positive and pleasant experience here. My aesthetician has been nothing but wonderful and helpful. Unfortunately, I can no longer continue with the VIP membership and I am trying to get it cancelled before I get billed again. Friday, 8/27- I called the office to see if I can cancel my VIP membership. The front desk provided me the email address for the Director which I emailed her that day. I received no response. Saturday, 8/28- I Facebook messaged them and they said they would relay the message to the Director. Tuesday, 8/31- I emailed the Director again asking for any updates and she responded that she will look into my account and will contact me in a few days. Friday, 9/10- Still no response. I emailed the Director for any updates. Tuesday, 9/14- I called the office again and they said they would relay the message back to the director. Wednesday, 9/15- I am leaving this public review. I have waited over 2 weeks for an answer and nothing has happened. I am disappointed with the lack of communication. Again, this has nothing to do with my experience with my med spa services. I have had great experiences with all the providers here at Bella. Recently I had my lips enhanced with Kerry McDonald. She is top shelf in provider ability. It's an art form for her and her results prove it. I appreciate the whole staff, including the front desk staff. I have had exactly zero problems with anything related to my account. TOTALLY SUCKED! Don't waste your time or money here! I took my daughter to have a facial (she is a minor). She was taken back to the room 7 minutes after her facial should have started. I was asked to go sign some papers. While at the desk, a patron came to the desk and asked if the esthetician who was caring for my daughter, had started yet (it is 16 minutes into her facial) the lady at the desk says "no" so the patron proceeds back to the room where my daughter was having a facial. I told the receptionist, they had started, she dismissed me and said "it will be fine." NO, it is NOT FINE to interrupt someone who is having a treatment done! The "papers" had not materialized, so I went back to the room my minor daughter was in. She was alone in the room, the esthetician was nowhere to be found! She left my daughter during the middle of a facial to do who knows what with this patron who was allowed to interrupt her facial during an appointment I had made and the other patron did not. The facial itself was underwhelming. I have had enough facials to know a good one. It was done with the fluorescent lights on bright. No steam was used. There was no type of relaxation involved whatsoever. I could tell (my minor daughter could tell) that the esthetician just didn't give a shit! The facial was finished at 33 minutes after the hour. (A grand total of 20 minutes, 33 - 7 = 26 - 6 minutes she left her in the room to tend to the other patron). What I couldn't tell is if the esthetician treats all her clients this way or just minors who she assumed wouldn't know the difference. Lastly, the air conditioning was not working and the place was hot. Totally unprofessional! If you want to be treated with respect, find another place to go. read more

This is a beautiful Medspa located in Temple Terrace. I was referred here by a coworker and for good reason. The staff here are very knowledgeable and very professional! The services and products are not pushed on you which I appreciated. I had a consult for Botox, coolsculpting and Latisse. I was told I didn't need the Botox which was very complimenting! I did get the Latisse and Coolsculpting! The Latisse takes several weeks to take effect so we shall see. The product grows your lashes. For the coolsculpting, I tried that process after a consult. It didn't hurt and I can't wait to see the full results in 2-3 months. It has boosted me to begin my weight loss mission again. I do look forward to having coolsculpting again! The office administrator, Jessica is wonderful! Only been 3 times all 3 had issues. First time they gave more then what I asked for. I was very clear I only wanted 20 units that's what I've always had in the past they gave me 30 and expected me to pay for that! Second time I came they suggested they give me something other than Botox. I told them I did not want anything else I wanted what I have had before and what I know, which is Botox. When I signed up the third time they looked in the chart and told me what I received the previous time was the other product they suggested and NOT the Botox. Third appointment I told them I wanted 20 units of Botox that is what I have always have! I was very clear. When I got to the register they try to charge me for 24 and told me that's what I received. I again explained that was not what I asked for. The woman in the front was quite snotty and told me apparently I needed more! Are you kidding?! I told her I asked for 20 that's what they should've given me and that was all I would pay for. She was quite rude. All three times I was disappointed with the service. I submitted my original review over 3 years ago, so imagine my surprise when out of the blue, I get a message from the new manager of this facility last month. I was told the office is now under new management and making amends by trying the right all the previous wrongs. Jessica, the new manager, went out of her way to reach me and apologize for the incident years ago- even offered free treatments on top of whatever I was owed. Since I no longer live in FL, she instead decided to send me a gift bag full of really great (and pricey) products. I just have to say how admirable this is- the place could have just re-branded and created a new Yelp page to hide all of the previous indiscretions, but instead are doing the right thing by talking to us one by one. I was not even asked to update this review in return! The effort and customer service is definitely appreciated. To be fair, I could not in good conscience give a 5 star rating since I have not had the chance to try the services again, however I no longer feel slighted after losing a few hundred dollars on my 1st go around, the Spa stepped up and tried to make up for it. I sent my wife to Bella while we were on a business trip. We stayed at a hotel about 2 miles from the spa. I was concerned about the one star on Yelp so I went in to check the place out. This is a first class spa in appearance. The decor is amazing and I felt comfortable to buy my wife a microdermabrasion. All I can say is that this Med Spa gave my wife a great experience. A little about myself, over a year ago I had a very thick beard and had to shave a couple times a day. I saw an ad on Groupon for about $300 Bella Med Spa would remove my beard with 6 sessions. Removing a beard, at least a think beard like mine, can NOT be done in just 6 sessions. As of me writing this review, I have had over 12 sessions, and I am still having to have treatments. Also if you have a thick beard, the treatments are very painful and most likely you will need numbing cream. So, I spent $300 on the initial 6 sessions. Another $250 for another 6. Soon I will have to pay for another 6 sessions. And every time I go in, I have to pay $25 on numbing cream. So, to get my beard removed, I have so far spent around $1,000 and am not done yet. In my opinion, Bella Med Spa was very misleading about this procedure. I can not recommend laser hair removal from Bella Med Spa to anybody else. read more

I have had many treatments at Bella Med Spa and have never been disappointed. They are wonderful, professional and very proficient in their specialties. Each of my family members have also been there for various treatments and have all been extremely satisfied. We will continue to go to Bella Med Spa for all of their services because we have found that other medical spas do not live up to their promises and their treatments aren't as long lasting or thorough. We've had other lazer hair removal at spas that it grew back or didn't cover the areas for which they charged.
