This was my first time ever getting an eyelash lift. The lash artist was very nice and informative and talked me through the whole process before we even started. They get some background information to make sure that you don't get any bad reactions and she checked with me through the process to make sure I was comfortable. The process took about an hour in total but it went by quickly as I chatted with the lash artist and she talked me through everything that she was doing. I was also given some aftercare tips and informed about eyelash growth cycles and I walked away feeling really good. You also get a eyelash tint with the eyelash lift. The bed they have you lay on is quite comfortable, they have you take off your shoes and jacket before getting on the table. No complaints there but it was a bit cold in the studio so I was quickly cold and looking forward to the session being done so that I could put my coat and scarf back on. One other thing I am also not a fan of is that they have no dividers in between their beds or anything. I am personally used to any beauty appointments being one on one and in private rooms or at least having more distance between me and the other customers. This studio is small, so if you are like me just be aware that you are close to other customers getting beauty services. read more

I am thrilled to say I have found a bomb eye lash location. Le struggle is most definitely real finding quality service. I have been getting my lashes done for almost 11 months now, and I was on the hunt for a new lash extension location. Bella Lash Studio is a great!! Today was my 2nd time going this time for a lash fill. I am overly pleased with my service experience. The studio is super cute and very clean. Parking is limited on the block of the location, but not the worst to deal with. The staff is very professional and friendly. Suehey is amazing! She does phenomenal lash work and has a great personality! Very personable! My lash fill today took only about 40 mins. The fastest lash fill I have ever had, and they look great! Getting lashes can be quite a long process, but at Bella lash, they make sure you are comfortable. Getting your lashes done requires a lot of maintenance, but it is well worth it. I would give up getting my nails done now over my lashes. A natural lash extension leaves you feeling beautiful with no makeup. I've been to Bella Lash a few times, and typically had a good experience. Payton does the best job with lash lifts. Today however, I arrived for my appointment and they said they had no record I had an appointment at all. I was shocked because I booked this appointment several weeks ago and had it in my calendar. I was so disappointed because I left work early and was so looking forward to some self-care. They didn't have any upcoming times with Payton that accommodated my work schedule. So, they were nice enough to fit me that night in with someone else. I did appreciate that, but the whole situation was stressful and frustrating. It felt like I inconvenienced them, instead of the reverse. I would recommend you go elsewhere if you have a busy work schedule. First of all I must say I joined yelp just to leave a review for this place. I don't normally do this but I had to share my experience. For Halloween I decided to get lashes put on at a different salon. A few of my eyelashes broke & a couple fell out when I removed them but no big deal.. As I was leaving for a beach vacation I figured I'd get individual eyelash extensions to make up for the ones I had broken when removing the original set. My eyelashes are naturally pretty long so I was looking to just make them look a bit fuller and elongate the ones I had broken. Kristina was the technician who performed my service, she was nice enough. I asked how long she'd been doing eyelash extensions and she said "not too long" I could tell she lacked experience, but the reviews were great for this place so I figured she'd do a good job. I took & sent pictures to the receptionist right before my service.*like i said I'm new to yelp and I'm not sure how to post pics but I'll update with before and after as soon as I do.* The lower half of my eyes were RED as in you could see them from a mile away RED, for THREE days. It ruined my whole vacation! my eyes were not only red they burned and became extremely irritated at the slightest touch. As I tried lubricating & soothing with eye drops I was crying not just tearing up, full-blown crying. I know this sounds dramatic but I'll have you know I'm not one to complain especially if it's something I signed up for. I don't believe in calling in sick, I tough it out, I have a high pain tolerance but oh man, this was something else. I tried contacting Maria to see what needed to be done for a reaction of this type. 2 days later I finally got in contact with her partly because I had crappy cell service while on vacation. When we finally spoke she assured me it wasn't a normal reaction (as I already knew I can't imagine women signing up for this type of pain willingly) She suggested taking benadryl for allergic reactions, I did, no help. I have never been allergic to anything, but you never know, i wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I asked for the name & ingredients to the cleaning/prepping solution used on my eyes as there's where my problem began. I felt an immediate burn when she got the solution in my eyes but not knowing what to expect I didn't think much of it as my eyes were taped shut. Today 11-18-15 I spoke to Maria and was blown off with a simple "some people just can't get eyelash extensions" no apology! She also said the product was a primer, I've yet to hear back with specifics. (I'd like to speak to my Dr and see if in fact it was an allergic reaction or a chemical burn) During the almost 2.5 hour process I told the technician Kristina I needed a break as my throat and nose were on fire and i asked about the burning. (i had previously mentioned I had a slight cough & didn't want to cough on her so i wasn't going to talk much) So she said the burning was probably from the cough not from the eyelashes & we continued on. We should've stopped right there but she assured me the only reaction I'd have from the eyelashes would be on my actual eyelids, and as the burning was in my nose and throat I believed her. When the process was over my eyes were super irritated. but again she assured me it was normal for new clients to experience discomfort & redness & it would go away in a few minutes. and I again believed her.. i payed, tipped, & left. As i mentioned i got extensions to feel more confident on vacation i instead looked SCARY! I was asked multiple times if i was okay.. my eyes were so red I looked drunk/high/sick the entire time. I was so embarrassed & uncomfortable i wore sunglasses every second possible. The redness was constant but only time my eyes were in extreme pain was when I inserted drops or when despite my best efforts water entered them. I had the eyelashes done on Wednesday 11-11-15 & the redness wasn't gone until Saturday night 11-14-15. Needless to say I'm NEVER going back there again!!! They did offer to remove the eyelashes for me but no thanks. I can't imagine what cheap chemicals they use to remove them with if what they used to "prep" did that much damage. I've been removing them with regular make up remover and they come right off. I seriously suggest if you're going to get extensions going elsewhere and looking up the products they use before hand. I found Bella Lash Studio on Groupon, they're located downtown Naperville which was convenient for me & they had a $95 dollar sale so I thought "why not?" Clearly sometimes cheap ends up costing you a WHOLE lot more. I paid $120 to be in pain, insulted, embarrassed, & have that oh so cute drug addict look.. POINT OF THE STORY IS DO NOT GO HERE & BE CAREFUL! read more

Oh my. So many positive reviews and I just don't get it. I don't write many reviews but I don't want others to be deceived like I was by the rest of these positive review. The other places I have been for lashes have been a spa like atmosphere, quiet, relaxing, spa music... I will try to be objective but thinking of the experience I am still shaking my head...here we go: - The waiting room had flickering fluorescent lights - and a few out - the other room is a small room with 2 tables. A radio in between plays dance music with commercials..(nothing against this I dance and also dance - the gals talked back and forth loudly (to speak over the music) to each other about subjects that some might find offensive (bowels, growing/smoking weed) and complaining about neighbors. - during the consultation I asked for what I had which were volume lashes. she gave me single natural lashes Afterwards I was told first that she "didn't have time" and then told that she doesn't do those - only Maria does and she was busy. She also said she didn't have time to do all the lashes even though I was there for 90 minutes. She also then tried to convince me that I didn't want volume because my lashes were already long. - as I left there were 4 people waiting so I didn't want to inconvenience everyone else by starting a fuss. So I called as soon as I got home. I got a voicemail and so I left a message for Maria to please call me. I will say that someone called me the following day - not Maria - and by this time a few lashes had fallen out and I had an event to attend this weekend. Since no one had returns my call that day, that evening I found INFINITY LASH who was immediately responsive and offered to see me in the morning to fix this mess. So, while I tried to return the call from Bella, it was not Maria who answered, we had a bad connection and I couldn't hear her at all. I hung up and decided to move on from this frustrating experience and not waste any more of my time and energy. Kristina however at INFINITY LASH did an amazing job the next morning fixing me. I've used Xtreme mink lashes before. Not sure what brand Bella Lash Studio uses. So far I'm happy with them though four little strips did fall off the first day. This could have been attributed to the windy conditions that day, but that is why it looses a couple stars. My appointment ended up needing to be re-scheduled. Luckily, Alexis was available. She did an outstanding job. Received so many compliments about my lashes. This was a Groupon buy and those can sometimes be hits or misses. This is definitely the former. I can't say enough good things about Bella lash studio, and I haven't even gotten my lashes done yet! I found a groupon deal here and made an appointment, but since they are so popular I couldn't get in for 3 weeks. I was too anxious to wait, so I got a set done at another place. I went to Bella yesterday to get the rest of those lashes removed and to get my new set. As it turns out, the last place put so much glue on my lashes that they took an hour trying to get them off when Maria told me it usually takes 5 minutes! The remover was not working because of the amount of glue I had, so Suhey spent a lot of time meticulously getting them off, and then Maria came over and helped her with the rest. I had no extra damage or lash loss because of their careful hands. After all of this, Maria told me she wanted me to wait 2 weeks to get the new set on because she wanted my eyes to rest. Although I was disappointed, I knew that Maria just wanted what's best for me and my lashes and I'm grateful for her expertise and care. There is normally a charge for lash removal, but the girls did not charge me (I assume because of the trauma of getting those old lashes off lol), which was very nice of them.
