This is my 4th wine pairings dinner, and my husband's 1st. Our 1st course was cream of chicken soup. Very good. I didn't care for the chardonnay it was paired with. 2nd course was stuffed mushrooms with cream cheese and bacon. WONDERFUL! A nice red wine. 3rd course was a pasta primavera. Not bad. I don't remember the wine. 4th course was cheese lasagna. Very good. 5th course was a lamb chop that I waited the entire meal for...a bit gamey taste and fatty. Another nice red wine. Mia just completed designing silk floral arrangements for my whole house. It was quite the task, but everything turned out beautiful! Her ideas and color selections were extraordinary.
