I have been to the Bella Vista many times usually for a week long vacation. We always stayed as a family in one of the cottages. Is it a 4 star hotel? Definitely not, but it isn't supposed to be. The draw of coming is to be outside; at the beach or having a fire in the fire pit, not hanging out inside. On our most recent visit, we arrived and were checked in promptly. It's been a few years since I've been there and they've redone some aspects of the cottages; there was a new air conditioner along with new windows, drapes, paint, flooring and decor. I thought it looked very nice. The beds were average. The picture window is huge and faces the water so you have a great view when you're inside. The beach was fantastic. The water levels are very high because we've had so much rain - so much so that the swings are currently sitting in the water. Even so, there is still a large, expansive sand beach and the water was great. We did not use the pool so I cannot comment on that. The fire pits were really nice. They're pretty large, and situated so you can still see the water if you're sitting at them. We had a fire each night and enjoyed watching the sunset, roasting marshmallows and looking at all the stars you can't see when you're in the city. The con here (and the reason I rated it a 3) is that I felt like the cottage wasn't as clean as I'd have liked. Don't misunderstand, there weren't bugs or anything, but the surfaces all needed to be wiped down, dishes needed to be washed before use, the toaster needed a good scrub, the screened porch table needed to be cleaned before we could use it, etc. That said, if you're staying a week it's not a big deal; just clean it when you get there and be happy the rest of the week. Overall, I'd return because I think it's a nice place to stay for a family vacation by the beach. read more

Has great potential but is an old run down motel that has not had a dollar invested back into it. Rooms are clean but old, bathrooms were a time warp back to 1978 but worked. Neighbors toilet not so much. You can hear the pipes rattling in the wall when the other guests shower, thought that was actually funny when we realized what it was. Just a cosmetic mess, weeds everywhere, grass was cut but under picnic tables were not., just lazy upkeep. Pool was from the movie Vacation, no swans but hadn't been cleaned in a minute and the owner literally told us when checking in that he just put 1 million into the pool so enjoy it. I'd give it a 3.5 out iof 10, with that being said it has so much potential but the owner puts nothing back into it. The biggest plus is the amazing sunset and beach access it affords you. read more

First let me start by saying this wasn't my first choice for staying in the area, We had a wedding to go to in Port Austin over the weekend and all the hotels were booked, we had twelve people, and ended up booking this hotel six months ago..... I was a bit worried because of the reviews I had read, so I was expecting the worst, but when I got out of the car and stood on the beautiful beach right in front of our room, it was all good.. Ok the place itself needs a bit of TLC but the room was clean and the bedding was nice and I slept great. The people who work here are so nice and accommodating you forget that the place has taken you back to 1970, which isnt a bad thing... I do recommend going here. The price is great, the people who own it are very nice, and it is close to everything in caseville. It's not a 5 star hotel for sure, however it gives you a nice spot to hang out, and vacation in a beautiful of part of the state. read more

Our family has been going to Caseville for 30+ years. While we are thankful Bella Vista can accommodate our size (large family). The upkeep & cleanliness are sorely lacking. We stay for a week and while we don't mind bringing all our own things (trash bags, toilet paper, rugs, dish soap, towels, linens, etc.) The response from the owner is sadly disappointing. If I bring even a small thing up we notice that might need attention, we are dismissed. It could be our fault it is like that or maybe we are making it up. The bed in our one room clearly had *** on it (cleaners missed it entirely) we were told, maybe our family did it. Not once ounce of compassion. I'm clearly mortified. read more

My wife and I stayed here again while visiting family and helping with the Ribstock. This is a very clean, safe motel. You can tell the owner cares about the place as everything was in perfect working order. There was nothing missing or broken as you often find in inexpensive motels. My wife found the decorations in the room to be very "cute." That brings me to one point I never considered until recently and i want to mention it out of respect for a loved one in the family who brought this to my attention. She is a big animal rights activist and sees fishnets as the ar-15 assault weapon to sea life. Agree with her or not, I will still love her and be considerate of her beliefs until the day I die. So if you're triggered by fishnets, know the rooms here have fishnets hung on the wall for decoration. I'm sure many will see it as nothing more than cute decorations for a community with a deep history of fishing, but there are some, like my sister, who would not stay in the room with it on the wall. read more

I read some bad reviews before going to the Bell Vista but we went there anyways hoping the Lakeview would outweigh the bad. I guess as long as you're prepared for some negatives you do have an incredible Lakeview and access to a beautiful beach. Pros: beautiful sunsets, great beach, swimming pool temperature was perfect, WiFi worked occasionally, and parking was ample. Cons: wonder if I can remember them all!! First off it is pricey for a poorly maintained resort, we told them we needed two beds because we don't sleep in the same room so one of the beds was a futon couch (which they assured us was a substantial bed) and it looked and felt like some kids had performed trampoline tricks on it for weeks, the main bed gave me backaches and stiffness for hours so I'm guessing it's an old mattress, the maid service was really bad because I found cookie crumbs and cookie wrappers for nutter butter cookies on top of the DVD player (and I'm talking about one whole cookies worth of crumbs!), the toilet paper holder was broken so we really couldn't use it )I have included a picture of it here for your reference), the bathtub/shower needed caulking, there is no maid service during your stay so the towels are not changed for you, the sheets on the beds had not been washed and were obviously dirty (we noticed it after the office closed on the first night so we called the next day to get new sheets and they didn't ask why we needed them or offer to change them for us). That was probably the grossest part of the stay and the first night I slept on a blanket I had brought for the beach and I had my own pillows I used), dishes were filthy dirty and the rag to wash dishes was gross! Very little dishwashing liquid but we made it work!! You just need to be prepared for what you are getting and you might be fine!! read more

We loved the place so much that we have already but our name on the list for next year!! I only gave it a four star because the restaurant and bar was closed not because of management, but because he is looking for good help. Pros: Location (right on Lake Huron), has a beach, has a pool, in between Downtown Caseville and Sleeper State Park Cons: The pool was not cleaned until the 3rd day of our 4 day stay, our room was not cleaned once (nor was it explained to us that it would not be cleaned), we had to go and exchange towels for clean towels (not explained to us upon check in), room was dirty (shower was full of sand and a few dead bugs, toilet was not clean, floor had sand on it, linens were stained) With it being more like a roadside travel lodge I felt it was overpriced. read more

My husband and I took our 3 grandkids for a few days earlier this week and had a great time. Not a 5 star resort but it was perfect for what we needed. Stayed in an apartment which was clean and enough space for us all. Steps away from the beach which they loved along with having fun in the pool. Only drawback was I wish the restaurant on premises was open as we had to drive to our meals. I would definately go back. read more

Best place to stay ! It's between Caseville and Port Austin. The beach is amazing! The rooms and the cabins are clean and very comfortable. All walking distance to a beautiful Sandy beach! Went to a wedding and the food was amazing! Beautiful sunrise and sunset! Can't say enough. If you have never been here you are missing out! read more

Update! We visited again this last summer and stayed in one of the suites in the water. The view was to die for! Everything was updated and clean. The bed sucked though! It was like probably the worst bed I've ever slept in. And the glasses and kitchen stuff could use a small update. Overall, 5 stars because it really was such an enjoyable stay and at such a reasonable cost! I will return!! read more

Two pros...location & beach Other than that I would say "don't stay here unless ABSOLUTELY necessary". I found it strange that they mailed you a contract to sign, then you had to mail it back with your check for your first night. But when checking in they did not accept checks for balance. (We were staying 3 nights) They then charge you 2% of the balance for using a charge. We walked in to stained bedspreads, which was a huge turnoff right there. We never use them so we folded them up and put them on the floor. (since there weren't any tables or chairs to set them on). Blankets underneath weren't any better but at least sheets looked clean. Went to put our things in the closet & saw 6-7 spiders and webs all over the place. My husband went to the office to let them know and they handed him a can of ant & roach spray. He said what about the webs? They handed him a broom. Once he sprayed and shut closet...that's when the ants appeared. The top of the chest where I had put our food items was covered. We sprayed the baseboard and took everything back out to store in the car. After that most of the ants went into the bathroom. We stepped on ants every time we sat down to go. Ants crawled up on the sink and window ledge and died. The sink water was hot(no cold) and the shower lukewarm at best. The mold in the shower made you think they purposely used black grout. Towels were ok but my husband said I think the washcloth gave me a face a body peel. Pretty sure they need a new cleaning crew. A crew that uses some cleaning products. The toilet water was yellow but I attribute that to well water. We were happy to be checking out. read more

I stay at Bella vista this weekend for a wedding. After reading all the reviews before hand, I was very concerned about staying there with my kids. I read about the stains and the water and the fact it's outdated so I came prepared. I brought sheets and towels and I am happy I did. The pillow cases had stains and so did the towels. The pillows were a very poor, thin quality. Obviously used well. The water smelled very badly. It smelled of sewage or sulfur so we didn't drink the water. The toilet looked as though someone had already used it as the water was yellow. The room was fine. My complaint lies with the location of our room and the air quality. We stayed in the back of the hotel, right next to the back entrance for the staff so if they were out there smoking, it would blow into our room via the air conditioner. The air conditioner is a unit and it was in bad need of a cleaning. My whole family woke up the completely congested and the unit was running all night. I looked for bugs as the previous reviewers talked about them, but our room was bug free. The room didn't have a fridge so we got a portable cooler with ice. The hotel also doesn't have an ice machine, but provides ice buckets. Also, our TV was missing a remote so no luck there. But, again, I was ok with that. The hotel is outdated, but honestly, I don't care about that. Caseville is a very small town so it's what I expected. The had "wireless" in some rooms, but it didn't work in others. Again, it was nice to disconnect for a weekend, but I understand why that would upset some people. The location is wonderful. The beach is right there! The grounds of the hotel need major work. Rust, cracks in the sidewalks, pest control (as much as you can).... All in all, I wouldn't stay there again. If you do stay there, bring your own water, sheets and towels. Don't expect the top of the line because you won't find it there. It is what it is. read more

Read the reviews ahead of time, so wasn't expecting much, but it was worse than the reviews let on. We rented the "new house" across the street which gives all the amenities of the Bella Vista. It was terrible. Carpeting, furniture, and bedding all from the 1980's and it smelled like it to. Dirty towels left on the floor and hanging in the shower when we got there - so I cleaned both bathrooms before using. Told them what happened, they said they would clean the next morning, but never came. The smell in the house was so bad, I bought Febreeze and scented candles for the entire time we were there. the house is big, 3 bedroom, it could be great if they ripped out the nasty smelling carpeting (smells like urine) and got rid of the old couches from the 80's. Beach is completely gone due to the high water level. This I don't blame on them, but just so other people no - no beach at all. The swing set is in the water and is unusable. Great location, incredible sunsets! The price was extremely high for one of the worst places that we have ever stayed in. read more

Let me start off with the positive, the view from cottage # 7 of Saginaw Bay is breathtaking! The beds were comfortable. The beach would be fantastic if it was littered with cigarette butts, bottle caps and cans. The cottage was filthy, disgusting! We cleaned 3 hours before we could even unpack. The floor was black with dirt, the walls were covered with spider webs, the bathroom was disgusting, smelled like urine, tub rusty. Blinds beyond filthy. The kitchen cupboards were full of dirt and dead bugs, we were planning on cooking but decided against it after seeing the condition of the kitchen. I called ahead to make sure the cottage would be cleaned and they reassured me it would be. I told them I was a nurse who worked pandemic and would really appreciate a clean cottage Attached is a picture of the rag from wiping the floor, after seeing that I got on hands and knees to clean. I was at the Sunset Motel (part of the Bella Vista complex) on 7/17/2010, the same day as another contributor who was here for a wedding (same one, I wonder?). There was no power and we did not attempt to stay anywhere else as the power went out as we were already at the reception with no place else to go in a reasonable distance, as power was out for the entire town. FYI for Brian, the power definitely came on right at 1:30 a.m. and not a moment sooner. When I first called to reserve a room 2 months in advance, I was told I had the reserved the next-to-last room. I told the groom, who then instructed people to get rooms quickly. I personally know of 4 other sets of people who got rooms after I did. The room was dirty and the bathroom did not have full-body bath towels (only smaller hand towels) or shampoo. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, and the room doesn't have a phone. We didn't think anything of that at first but there is also very, very poor cell phone reception in the entire area. At 6 a.m. we were woken up by the sprinklers. From 6 to 6:30, the sprinkler outside of our room would shoot water at our window about every 45 seconds. It was very loud and impossible to sleep through. We called the front desk (with my cell phone) and no one answered, so we were just grateful when it stopped so we could go back to sleep. At 9 when we were getting up we heard another sprinkler hitting someone else's window further down. We told the front desk about the problem while checking out, and when my bf turned away I happened to look back and see them rolling their eyes at each other. We had our wedding here in August 2010. If you are thinking of having your wedding there, don't hesitate to contact me first! I wish I had been able to talk to someone first. I'm not saying don't have your wedding there because It ended up being an amazing wedding day/weekend, but the fact that it was amazing had nothing to do with the Bella Vista...it was so amazing because of my friends and family and the perfect weather. Pros: *The DJ Joe did a fabulous job. *The food was really good (as long as they actually serve you what was in your contract...that did not happen for us, but it was still good). *The location is awesome and the sunset was incredible. *The maintenance crew who set up the tent were awesome. *The bar on the property stays open until 2am, so your reception can keep on going after your time in the tent is up! Cons: *The owner seems to be a master manipulator and will try to take all of your money while pretending like he is helping you. He will also act like the things that go wrong are your fault. (contact me for details) We took our chair covers to a laundry mat to get the wrinkles out and there was an older woman there who asked me where the wedding was going to be. I told her the Bella Vista and her tone suddenly changed. She went off for 10 minutes about how the owner is known to screw people over. *The rooms are dingy and broken...not only our room, but many of our guests said the same. *It doesn't matter what it says in your contract, you will probably won't get what you agreed upon (again, talk to me :) read more

Horrible management, no set schedule for employees and the don't wash there top comforters every time guest comes in they over charge and the owner DON'T CARE sloppy and underpaid for the things people are there to do no consistency they have horrible plumping issues the maintenance does not care doesn't care about the place. Theres not always a hotel keeper the rooms had a horrible smells they have paint off the walls cracks in the foundation and flies absolutely EVERYWHERE. The rate that I got charged isn't what you expect for the rooms we got put in absolutely DO NOT APPLY OR WORK/ OR STAY IN THIS HOTEL. The bar that's advertised isn't even opened! The water is horrible smelling the beach isn't fully cleaned up and picked up the stuffed left in rooms the beds wasn't fully made and the showers had towels left in them the towels wasn't there or to little towels and then was no laundry person that was there over night when I needed towels. Absolutely not worth it. We heard the owner has multiple hotels and propertys that he doesn't keep up on and goes through so many people that he has no that's really wants to work for him. Horrible. There was a nice kitchenette but the room was so filthy I didn't dare cook there. Like an earlier reviewer, I did not get any shampoo or even a towel in the room. Make no mistake,this is an old property; I get that. I can do "old." We have stayed in 1950s one-room cottages and enjoyed every minute. But I can't do "dirty." And that's where this review ended up with one star. From cigarette butts on the beach, lawn and stairs, to the grimy tub and shower curtain liner, to half-empty water bottles under the stained-with-God-knows-what sofa, to the green (!!!) pool water... So many things that could have been easily remedied to make this a nice (albeit old) place to stay, were simply neglected and made me wonder what else was going on that we couldn't see. We stayed in an "apartment," which was a nice size, and looked as if they had recently updated the flooring and paint; it seemed promising upon entry. But then the bathroom... And the sofa... Oh dear. The water in the shower and toilet were yellow (hub thought the toilet had been used and not flushed when we arrived. It was just the color of the water.) The sink appeared to be clear water, but we went to the store to get bottled water for drinking, just to be safe. The bed was hard and squeaky, which we could probably have lived with, but the pillows were like rocks and the linens were thin and scratchy (and darkish patterned, which always creeps me out -- bleached white linens please!) The bath towels were white, thank goodness. Kids slept on the sofa bed (which we pulled out immediately, to avoid sitting on the stained sofa cushions). They complained about the springs so we tried to pad it a bit with the comforter from the queen bed. The kitchen was old and thinly-stocked. Coffee mugs and one glass (for example; I didn't take a full inventory). We only used the fridge and microwave. Both fine. I didn't open the oven. TV was new and cable was available. Wifi, not so much. Depending on time of day we could sometimes get connected, but often not. The beach was a nice size, and they did rake it in the AM. No frills, no chairs. A swing set looked fun until Kid 2 tried it and all three swings had issues. The pool... Green. Like they maybe pumped in lake water? Dunno. Would not let the kids near it. We tried the pool "next door" (same owner recently purchased the adjoining property) and it was clean but very poorly maintained. Many missing tiles, etc. We were unable to check out the restaurant and bar (had decided to eat elsewhere anyway) because it was closed for a wedding. The bar/nightclub music was LOUD and went until 2 AM both nights of our stay. We were not directly over it but it sounded like we were in the middle of it all. Terrible. The air conditioner (window unit) did work well, and there was a ceiling fan in the bedroom. The windows in our unit looked relatively new. This really could be a lovely property. But it needs a serious housekeeping and maintenance staff, both inside and out. There is no excuse for a filthy shower and shower curtain liner, or for unswept stairs, or stained furniture. We did check for bedbugs and found no evidence of them. Small comfort. read more

This beautiful inn is directly on the water and filled to the brim with nautical charm. We came into town for a festival. I had the opportunity to meet the owner, Hershel, and chat and he is so sweet and respectful! The bar and grill serve great food and drink and the staff was prompt and helpful. But to tell you, waking up and being able to walk straight to the rolling waves of Lake Huron or a night time bonfire right in the sand is just beyond wonderful. Dirty, smelly, dead bugs, stains, terrible water and dirty beach. What else do you need to know? Oh no fridge, no microwave, ice available for $3 a bag when a 2 minute drive gets you the same bag for $1.59. This place is a burning trash heap and smells like it too. Saw a cleaning woman once. We were there for 5 days and our room was never cleaned, no one offered us towels or more toilet paper. They took forever to get a maintenance man since our SHOWER DIDNT DRAIN AND FLOODED. Which was never fixed by the way and we had to use other rooms showers. The comforter had a dozen stains on it, the toilet water is constantly yellow, theres no wifi even though they say they have it, it's not gonna work, they advertise jet skis in every room but dont actually have any to rent. Ran out of toilet paper, towels are grainy, pillows are terrible. The pool is dirty and I'd imagined is only skimmed once a week. Theres loose boards, dead trees, uneven concrete all along the grounds. The owner of this place has given up. Hershel doesnt care about his guests, just his pocketbook. We come up evey year and will NEVER be back. This place looks great from about 15 feet away. But when you really get up close and look, the floors will be black with dirt, they'll gouge you at every turn, and act like their doing you a favor. Do yourself a huge favor and stay at the Lake Vista in Port austin. They are attentive, clean your room every day, offer fridges and you guessed it....FREE DAMN ICE. What a crazy concept. read more

Rude customer service. They lost power and had no running water, no working toilets and no air conditioning for the duration of our stay. To avoid the stench and sanitation issues we were forced to cut our trip and leave early. The Bella Visita Inn refused to reimburse us for anything. Great quality for the price! Stayed here for one night and I would consider coming back for my next trip in Caseville. This inn is simplistic and tasteful. Wonderful interactions from the staff. Only downside was the dining room was not open (understandable because of COVID-19 restrictions). I had my bachelor party here. At first, the room didn't have a working fridge and the grill didn't work. When the team found out about that, they more than took care of us. We relocated to a different room and were right in the water. It was beautiful and the staff was great. Randy, the maintenance manager, is someone you should only wish you'll gave the opportunity to meet. Great guy full of passion for his job and guests. Good work guys. read more

To start off with, me and my boyfriend have never been up to caseville before this year and went up this year for cheeseburger festival to meet up with some friends. We booked this vacation back in march, upon booking I asked for a lake side room which the woman than said only one was available lake side but it was a full bed only, which I was okay with so I went ahead and put my deposit on that room. 85$ a night. Upon arriving there was a woman ahead of us who was complaining her room was not clean, with sand in the sink, beds not made, and blood stained towels, where she was then handed new towels and windex and paper towels to clean herself!!! What?!? Then we find out that our room is not lake side, and is hands down the smallest room on the whole resort. The room smelled like dirty sewage water, and was super musty smelling. We walked in to find the ceiling trim was half off the wall with nails sticking out. The bed was so squeaky, and the sheets were super rough and uncomfortable. We went to the front desk where the woman gave us a different room, pool side. we were much happier with this room and moved all of our stuff in there, and went and returned the previous room key to find out that we could only stay one night because someone else was staying there the next day. Being super annoyed at that point I left and went to shower from a long day of travels, I then found blood stains on my towels as well. I was so grossed out we just left to meet up with friends. My friends booked a penthouse room, and upon meeting up with them, they told us how there was cooked noodles in the sink, mold in their fridge, and the comforters on all of the beds were torn off, so before checking in they had to wait three hours to come back and check in because it was supposed to have been being cleaned and they came in later on and found out nothing was done. Later that night returning to our pool side room it was dark out besides the light poles around the pool, opening our room to see the light post was legitimately shining into our room, it was as bright as daylight in there, and there was not blinds to block out the light. So we slept in a bright room all night. The following day I went to speak with the owner and asked for a refund of two nights of our three since we only stayed one night, and he only offered us one nights refund which we declined. The owner is such a cheap man he offered our friends a 35 dollar refund for their room not being clean. He told me that I was lucky to have even gotten a room there because of the busy week, and I should have called earlier. The front desk lady was super nice and I feel so bad for her because everyone was complaining because none of the rooms were clean. Apparently during the busiest week of the year half the maid staff was out. The owner should have been there instead of this poor girl because it's HIS establishment that was at a poor standing. The second day we had to transfer all of our belongings AGAIN to the "notoriously small room", is what the owner said. We realized the room was so small because we were next to a penthouse room and one of the doors in our room was legitimately screwed and bolted shut, so they took a bedroom and small bathroom from the penthouse to make another room. Which was just insane. I'm super disappointed with the trip, and will NOT be staying here ever again. The day we left the toilet also broke where water was overflowing over and out of the tank, and the toilet was not clogged, just broken. Remote to the tv would not turn the tv on or off and the volume didn't work either. There was geese poop all over the property as well. The only good thing I'll say is the air conditioning worked well in both rooms we stayed in. And the front desk woman was really nice despite working in this environment. read more

I am a lifetime Caseville vacationer. When my grandparents cabin was sold after they passed away I needed a new place to stay. I am in love with this resort. I booked the penthouse for a week with my family. It was huge, amazing and fairly priced. We didn't want to come home! The views are priceless! I suggest seeing the place for yourself, you will not regret your stay! They are consistently updating! Nice people! Can't wait to go back again and again! (I would live here! trailer park is all I'm saying. This place was not nice and my friend was propositioned by 2 old men. The clientele are a little different. Lots of drunks and druggies and dirty old men looking for hookers. I went for a birthday party against my gut feeling on the place. I arrived and we were scared. I had reserved a room for 3 and they gave us a room off the pool. It was about 9x9 and as I walked in my husband was laughing. It was unbelievable. There was a full size bed and that was all that would fit in the room. We had paid 10 bucks more for a roll away but it would have NEVER fit. When paying $90 for a standard room you expect basic standards to be met, like cleanliness, clean drinking water, a room that doesn't smell like a dank storage locker (Febreeze, people, c'mon). There was dust on the shelves and cabinets, a used bar of soap in the bathroom from the previous guest, mildew in the shower, mold on the walls, the towels had stains and dirt streaks on them, and my mattress had blood spatter on it which you saw every time you went in and out of the bathroom... And the water that came out of the bathroom faucet was yellow and smelled; not suitable drinking water. We were a couple staying as relatives of the bride and groom who booked their wedding at this resort, yet we were surprised to find our room had two double beds instead of one queen or king bed. We had arrived late at night and were too tired to ask to switch rooms, and after hearing what some of the other rooms were like from other guests, decided maybe our crappy room was worth sticking it out in. I definitely would not come back to stay at this hotel unless it was just to swim at pool or visit the beach. Oh and their "Free Wi-Fi" didn't work for anyone that we talked to. Edit: Let me mention that they have several options for rooms, standard rooms, apartment rentals, and "chalets". Those who rent the chalets will find they are the most modern and well-kept of the rooms and hence will give this place higher reviews. There are very few of these type of rooms and they are very expensive; the majority of the rooms available are the apartments or the motel-type rooms we rented which are older and in very poor condition. read more

GIRLS get away week vacation. Very pricey for our room with the service we received. Our room was not properly cleaned and was filthy. Very disappointed but decided to clean it ourselves. Three women for three hours cleaned and scrubbed our own room. The beds were dirty and full of human waste. The bathroom sink and shower were filthy never cleaned. No towels. Kitchen fridge full of dry blood stains. COFFEE pot horrible very dirty. Floors needed to be washed. Changed the water numerous times to get it clean. Spider webs everywhere. Windows had dried dead bug guts. Table and counters filthy not wiped down. Considering we planned for this a year in advance and promised clean accommodations was disappointed in the service. The staff didn't care either. We had to go get our own cleaning supplies. Advice bring your own cleaning supplies, you will need them. read more

Seriously skeptical after reading the reviews but in all honesty you can tell that management is trying to make some major improvements and upgrades. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was clean and welcoming. Perfect place for kids to swim at the beach or one of two pools. My only major disappointment was the false advertising of having a bar/restaurant, it's only open on the weekends. For the price this was exactly what I expected. Keep up the good work and improving as you can. Can't wait to come back next year! read more

Overall this place is an overpriced complete dump. I would advise to keep driving. Room: Stains on the room carpeting EXTREMELY small with a bathroom that barely 1 person can fit in No hot water - warm at best No temperature control at all in the room The sheets and sides of the mattresses had stains on them Very small TV VERY loud due to road noise General: Swing set only had 1 of 4 swings working The restaurant area was smoky and dirty, more like a bar and grill Broken vending machines No ice machines Pool: Filthy pool deck Debris in pool Definitely NOT heated, contrary to what their website says Will never ever return to this place again. read more
