Ordered a Turkey Reuben from Bellacino's and was extremely disappointed. I specifically confirmed at pickup that it was turkey, and the employee assured me it was. I get home and find out they included the traditional corned beef with only a couple slices of turkey. When I called back, I was told, "That's just how we make it." Since when does a Turkey Reuben automatically come with beef unless clearly requested? Not everyone eats beef, and some people may even have allergies or dietary restrictions. The bigger issue is that I directly asked about the order before leaving and was given incorrect information. What made the experience worse was the lack of accountability. No apology, no offer to remake it, no attempt to make it right at all. Customers should be able to trust that what they order is actually what they're receiving. read more

Haven't been here in ages and I couldn't tell you why. I'm pretty upset we forgot about this place to be honest! I placed a door dash pickup and when I arrive my order was fresh out of the oven. Boy did I time that well! Friendly staff. Got home and quickly devoted my small (Sicilian) BLT Pizza no lettuce and my husband had a BLT grinder. Everything was super fresh and tasted great. Went there to grab a quick lunch. Order an 8" personal pizza with pepperoni. It came out about 10 minutes later, piping hot and good. I think the pizza and a Pepsi cost about about $9. A much better meal than heading to McDonald's! They have plenty of table space to sit and eat as well. read more

Not bad. First time having food from this location or from a Bellacino's in several years. First off, didn't realize how massive a full size grinder was! Pretty awesome. The grinder itself was decent; nothing overly great but solid. No real complaints. The bread could have been a bit crispier but maybe I need to ask for more well done. Italian grinder is decent. Parm bread is okay too. Again nothing too great and not enough garlic. No real taste but at least it was still warm when I received it from Grubhub delivery. I pass Bellacino's twice a day but rarely think to stop in. Today, I really wanted pizza, and I wanted to try some place different but close, so I went there. First, as everyone has mentioned, the place is pretty much empty -- although a couple people did come in while I was waiting. The staff is extremely nice and friendly and greeted me as I walked in. I ordered a side salad and a small Sicilian pizza to go. The salad was very good size, and had large chunks of tomatoes (not the standard issue 1 cherry tomato), strips of green pepper, fresh mushrooms and sliced onions. There were too many onions, but other than that, the salad was pretty impressive -- better than what most sit down restaurants offer. I got Italian dressing, which wasn't the best, but that's minor. The pizza was pretty small, but for about $5, that's ok. I found it a bit doughy, and the sauce was a bit too sweet -- and there was too much for me. But the cheese was very good. The toppings (I got ground beef & mushrooms) were hidden under the cheese, so I don't know how plentiful it was. Still, the overall taste was good. They have an extensive menu -- all kinds of grinders, specialty pizzas, pasta, fries, etc., and the prices are reasonable. I will try to remember that the next time i want Italian take out food! read more

This place has a very unique and delicious style of sandwich! The ingredients are fresh and the bread is out of this world! When you get your grinder (sub-style sandwich) to-go, it comes in a nice rigid cardboard box that keeps it in perfect condition while in transport! Sylvan Lake / Keego Harbor is not really a destination in itself but more of a town you drive through to get from one place to another - in my case, getting from work to school. I wanted to stave-off the hungys before I sat through four hours of mind-numbing class so I popped into Bellacino's on a whim for a quick bite to eat. It's right next to Orchard Lake Rd so easy-in, easy-out. At 4:15 the place was completely empty - I hoped it wasn't because of the food or service. I'd never been here before. On the bright side, I had the large dining room and the flat-screen t.v. all to myself. I asked for a recommendation and the girl at the counter said they were famous for their Italian grinder so that's what I got. I ordered a 9" with everything for $5.89. It was SPECTACULAR. Very fresh, toasted to perfection and loaded with good stuff - but not so much that the squarish bun couldn't contain it nicely while I stuffed it into my face. This is definitely going to be my going-to-school stop on Tuesday afternoons. Yum. I chatted with the owner briefly and asked him how business has been. "Lousy," he replied. "I've bought this place a few months ago and I'm starting to think the place had a bad reputation before I got it. I think it's keeping people away." Well, I'm here to tell you they don't know what they're missing. If you haven't tried this Bellacino's location in a while I strongly suggest you give it another shot. I did curbside pickup, when ordering online, they said 15 minutes...I had to check to see if my order was received...The menu said crab/seafood grinder. It was all FAKE CRAB, no other seafood. I haven't been to Bellacino's in years. I only went today on Thanksgiving because they happened to be OPEN. Everyone treated me as if I were in their HOME and I was their most important person guest. I only ordered a special for $5.99 (pizza, salad, and pop), which was served hot, promptly, and tasted amazing! Despite my small order with an unbeatable price, they threw in fresh hot cinnamon sticks with cream cheese icing "on the house." Omg... sinfully delicious. These are always stuffed full off goodies, and the bread just makes these the best. I give this place 5 stars because of the grinders and is always really clean. Every time i have been there the workers are always keeping there work areas supper clean. Seeing how much they care about cleanliness makes it safe to say there doing the same with all there ingredients. read more

This location is really hit or miss when it comes to quality. More often the latter. Several times I've placed an order and it was wrong or the menu item was just made incorrectly. I ordered a bayou grinder today which is normally pretty spicy. However the one I received had so much seasoning on it I couldn't breathe. It was literally clumped on the chicken. I was very disappointed with my visit on Sunday afternoon. I called ahead to order a steak grinder and I showed up 3 minutes before it was supposed to be ready. There was just one person in line in front of me and I waited for 10 minutes to pay for my order which obviously had been sitting there. It was cold. Also, the bread was cut very unevenly so on the ends there was a a very thick piece of bread with a very thin piece. If they want to stay in business they better pick up the pace for waiting on customers.
