This place is the best! Gluten free and delicious!! I love it! I wish I could take the whole place home with me! We only ordered to go, but it was fabulous each time. Everything was labeled, so no confusion. The tea is unsweetened and that was a bit sad but it's understandable, they're trying to be healthy...but it shocked some southerners:) We had burgers, pizza, salad, chicken tenders, brick chicken, lentil soup, hummus and gf pita, and chicken wings. Y'all, those chicken wings are THE BEST EVER. Period. I've ate too many. And I don't regret it. I will miss them when I'm back in NC. I doubt I can replicate them or ever find them near me again. I really enjoyed Ruggles Green before it turned to Bella Green and I can say I enjoy Bella Green also. I'm not going to lie I also try to think real hard on why a restaurant would get 5 stars, so I think about what I didn't like or faults the restaurant could have and I can say there wasn't anything wrong with any of my visits here. The food here is delicious and wholesome. I've tried several items such as the Chicken Tacos, Local Egg Sandwich, Roasted Chicken Sandwich, and the Turkey Meatball Panini. I usually ordered fries or sweet potato fries as a side with the sandwiches. Each dish has it's own unique taste but it has great flavor. Chicken Tacos- 3 tacos loaded with meat and its fixings, along with a sauce. Each taco has 2 corn tortillas, which makes sense since all the meat can overpower one tortilla. (I tried this by taking away one tortilla to make a bunch of small tacos). No sides with this. Local Egg Sandwich - seems very basic with two pieces of bread with a ham, cheddar, swiss cheese, and a fried egg per bread. It's open face meaning the meat, cheese, and egg are just laid on top of the bread and not made into a sandwich. Best part is when you bite or cut into it and you see the runny yolk come out. Turkey Meatball Panini - This was very tasty. Good amount of meatballs at a good size. Flavor is there with a good amount of sauce. Can't say much about it cause I only had it once. Roasted Chicken Sandwich - I only had this once so I dont remember it too well. It was good, I guess not good enough. I do remember there was so much in the sandwich that everything was falling out as I took a bite of it. It was overloaded. I can say other than the local egg sandwich, the other items had a lot of meat and veggies within the sandwich. It was overflowing the bread it was in. Can get messy. As you can see I remembered more about items I ordered multiple times versus ordering it only once. Teas are good with the selections they have. I usually get water because the meal can be costly. Really disappointed in our meal. Ordered a plain Jane, well done (crispy). Well I watched this pie sit on the warming counter for over 5 minutes. I got up and asked if it was mine and was told it was. I mentioned that it had been sitting there for a while and I could take it. I was told that my wife's meal was ready and they would bring it out together. Within a few minutes they both were served and my pizza was luke warm and soggy. I've been here one time before for an Elite event and it was a great experience, so I came back with my Godmother because I thought she'd like their menu. Unfortunately, this trip was quite different and underwhelming. I'm a lover of crab and had a big appetite, so I went for the Crab & Shrimp Pasta. My first visit was phenomenal - service great, food amazing! On a whim, I decided to come back because I really wanted that delectable blackened shrimp salad they offer but to my dismay the experience paled in comparison. The service was subpar, the manager and the young lady at the register seemed complacent and unbothered by the events that took place. Sadly, I also had to ask for a table to be cleaned off for my family which was questionable as to why the entire lobby was as messy as it was - maybe they had a rush that dissipated just prior?? - they weren't very busy. There were flies everywhere inside and to make matters worse.... I watched one of the cooks handle and prep food without gloves!!! So unsanitary. I observed that cook scratch his head and proceed to place those same ungloved hands on my food and others' food. When I asked to speak to the manager, she proceeded to justify his actions by mentioning a glove allergy. Fair enough - but no excuse - the gloves these days come in hypoallergenic options. Further, if you're in food service - which as a handler you have to have a food handlers card - you already know the rules... After the manager apologized lackadaisically, she never returned. Never-mind she took the food - didn't even offer to refund or anything. I waited for a while and had to go ask for her after about 10-15 minutes. When she came around she seemed surprised I didn't want the food and then agreed to provide the refund. :-/ I'm not sure if she expected me to just pay for something without consuming it or not, but jeez. I can't say I'll return to this location regardless of how good the food is. Ugh... my stomach is disappointed, empty, and very unsettled. :-( read more

Maria treats her like VIP and brings her sweet potato fries (her favorite) The staff is very kind and has even brought us a bowl of cold refreshing water for her on hot days. First thought: I'm gonna need a box. The serving portion is HUGE!! (I take back what I said about size being relative.) Second thought: we should have read the menu closer: I didn't care for the overall taste of my ceaser (sun dried tomatoes, capers, pickled onions.... this was not your normal kale ceaser). Hubby's was swimming in a really sweet dressing- and he's not one who minds the greens, so he was surprised by the overpowering sweetness of the sauce. So thankful for this new location. 1 negative- they use latex gloves in cooking. I am anaphylactic for this, so I did ask them to remove them for my food, however, a switch to nitrile would be much appreciated. Latex allergies and sensitivity are much more common now. Most Hospitals and doctor offices don't use them for this reason. I think the switch would be much appreciated since you cater to allergies and shouldn't be a big price difference. read more
