When I first searched Google for a place to find a nice cup of coffee, Bellair Coffee conveniently came to the rescue. And so, naturally, I whipped up Yelp to see what people have been saying about this little place. To my surprise, and somewhat dismay, I quickly found out that this coffee place did not exist in the Yelp database. And so I had to fix it.
However, before I could, I needed to achieve one critical prerequisite. I needed to find it. So, scurrying around the area, I was looking for signs, posters, bright flashing lights -- you know, something that would metaphorically say 'Coffee'. But alas, no avail. It dumbfounded me. Where was this elusive coffee spot? And then it hit me. Bellair was not a coffee 'place', it was a coffee van.
To some degree I sighed in relief, however, to some other degree I was sad that it was not a dedicated coffee place that I could sit down, relax and enjoy a cup of joe. But regardless I pushed on. I waited for my turn and ordered a cup of a lactose free latte. The scent of the coffee was unbearable, especially since I was a coffee addict, and was incredibly excited to get another hourly dose of caffeine -- yes this is probably very unhealthy. But to my delight the wait wasn't too long.
The coffee I got from the Bellair van was fantastic. The roast was good and the service was equally wonderful. Though there was only one person working at the time, the time it took between ordering and getting what you ordered was very short.
Situated just outside a general practice clinic, this little coffee shop is a fantastic pit stop to your day. Perhaps one day, when their business gets so incredibly popular will they endeavour to open up a proper store where people like me can sit down, hog up some space, and write yelp reviews as I sip on a cup of joe. If you're around this little van, do yourself a favour and support this business! read more
