Most homeworks are done online where help is available to the child. The principal, assistant principal, teachers are all extremely welcome and there is an open door policy. The school is in a very safe neighborhood and the school is packed with cameras, which is amazing for the safety of the children. Unfortunately a charter school isn't for everyone. If you can't learn to follow RULES this school would not be a good match. If you like to socialize, engage with the child's education and volunteer then this is definitely a great school. GO Lightings !!!!!!

Charter schools operating as for-profit real estate schemes are draining money meant for students…read moreand teachers. Florida, it's time to pay attention. A recent analysis of Education Management Organizations (EMOs) operating in Florida uncovered a striking example: a charter firm and its construction partner sold two newly built schools to their affiliated real estate partner -- one for just $1, the other for $10. Once the real estate firm took over the leases, it raised the rent on the school that sold for $1 all the way up to $1,325,666 per year. That's public education money -- money meant for classrooms, teachers, and students -- flowing straight into a related company's pocket through an inflated lease. Florida taxpayers deserve to know where their school dollars are actually going.

DO NOT send your kids here. Avoid enrolling your children here. Numerous safety issues have arisen…read moresince the new administration took over in 2022, such as teachers leaving mid-year, frequent lockdowns, uncontrolled bullying, and violations of overcrowded classroom laws and children's restroom rights. Furthermore, there's a notable lack of professionalism from the administration and office staff. Advocating for your child is discouraged, and if you do, expect rude and upsetting responses. Your child may be seen merely as a financial asset, with little regard for their actual education. The school's "A" rating is solely due to a policy change, as they are unwilling to address safety concerns or any other issues. If you don't speak English, unfortunately, you're marginalized under this administration.

Never send your child here! I have never in my 47 years of living thought a child could be bullied…read morethis bad, but it is indeed true. My daughter Elizabeth was enroled to this school because we moved from NJ to FL and wanted a fresh start. Things seemed to had started out fine first, but then the bullying started by one girl and her two little friends. It was just small things at first, like picking on her hair, her physique, and just little things. But then that turned into cyber bullying. They started to post terrible things about her on the app snap-chat and tick tock. We informed the school and teachers about this, but they just told her and me to ignore it. Then she started coming home with bruises on her face and arms. She said that started cornering her on the playground and jumping her, calling her slurs. Thankfully, we left this school after it got this bad and my sweet Elizabeth is ok now. I do also wanna say one ,ore thing, she told the the girl who did most of this to her was a child named Angie. So if you do end uo sending your child here, BEWARE OF ANGIE!!!

We walked down a long hallway to get to the nave. It was a great spot for a ceremony. It was really intuitive and people from the bride's family were along the hallway guiding us to go forward. There was even the sign of the bride and groom which confirmed we were going the correct way. There was a gender neutral single bathroom in the hallway to the nave. This was my first catholic wedding ceremony and it was beautiful. There were readings and songs. My favorite part was when the priest shared some advice, guidance, and prayers for the married couple. He was very welcoming, kind, and encouraging. It was a great ceremony.
