My daughter especially wears a lot of Next clothes as they fit her proportions well, and on the whole I've found things to be hard wearing. This store is smaller than the one in centre:MK but has a good selection of womens wear (including petite), mens wear, and childrens wear. My only complaint is that the layout makes getting around with a buggy difficult!

The store is also set out really well, with plenty of room to get about, unlike the old store where I just couldn't get my pram around! It also seems really clean, tidy and well lit. There are loads of changing rooms that are all really clean too. The staff also seem very friendly and helpful.

It is very light and airy in this shop and is accesible both from the Harpur shopping centre and the outside street. This shop stocks the 925 range, shoes maternity, inspire and the general womens clothes. Although it's a reasonable size it still isn't huge which means they can't have a large amount of clothes in each section - a pain if you've seen something on the internet and you want to try it on instore. Staff here are helpful and never had a problem when I have returned to get a refund on many a item!! I have found New look clothes to be cheap and generally good quality. Changing rooms are however falling into disrepair - it's bad when you get the last available changing room only to find the curtain is half falling off!

Punky fish has been around for about a year and when I first saw it I thought nah that doesn't look…read morelike my style. Its only when my sister who was at uni at the time came home and I said oh I really like your top, where did you get that from to which she replied Punky fish, yes I was shocked. The top was lovely so I decided to go and investigate the shop further. To my surprise it isn't all punky they have some nice girly tops in there ranging from about £12 the last time I went in there. The décor is also very funky and I really like it. The changing rooms are a bit dodgy, there are only two so you can imagine the queues when its busy and also the curtain is made from a red material which you can actually see through. They sell clothes and accessories such as belts, hats, purses and badges. The staff are very friendly.

The space inside is huge but the layout completely ridiculous and wasteful. The first thing you'll see is rails, rails and more rails of clothes. I'm sure if you visit early on Monday morning the clothes are in some kind of significant order, however by a Saturday afternoon there is no obvious solution to finding clothes in correct sizes or even the same style. The rest of the store is just like some Blue Peter bring & buy sale, really tacky awful items that, if original and highly priced, you'd see in an eccentrics mansion but from TK Maxx looks like the result of cleaning out a shut-in's house from the wrong side of the tracks. The staff all seem to have realised how awful this place is long before you arrive and therefore have no reason to help you in finding anything, or giving you correct prices for the hundreds of items without price tags, or doing anything at a speed quicker than an arthritic turtle. I know people who rave about this place but these are the same people who use the shop for fancy dress outfits so take that for what it's worth, whatever you do try and steer clear of TK Maxx.

Then a great little Home section which is good for gifts or your own personal use photo albums/frames, books, condiments, teas/coffees, chocolates, toiletries, pots/pans, utensils, flasks, bathroom bits and bobs, bedroom bits and bobs, ornaments, mirrors, luggage....etc! Downstairs are designer discount trainers/shoes/boots for men, women and children and womenswear and menswear. BUT!!!....Although I do like it, there are a few golden rules..always try things on as sizes vary alot! Always check your item of clothing over for damage of any kind...and definately allow a while for searching, you really do lose time in here!!

Gap now this is a store I have really grown to love, I never used to shop there when I was younger…read more(not sure why) but the past few years I have really liked this shop and bought many of items of clothing from them. The clothing to me so far is very durable, like I bought a few zip up jumper things and I literally wear these pretty much on most days and I have owned one of them for at least just over a year now, the colour has not faded, it hasn't shrunk and it isn't changed shape. The only down side to this store is the prices it is a very expensive store when you pick up a top and trousers it soon mounts up but on the other hand if you go in there when they have a sale on you can get some really great clothes and a very reasonable price. The store is very big and spacious with women's on the bottom floor and men's on the top floor, the store is always clean and everything has its place.

Gap is definitely one of the better clothes stores on the High Street, and this is a good branch…read more Nice location in the centre of the centre:MK, a nice spacious sales floor, and good departments for mens' clothes, womens', and also Gap Kids. Their sales are always worth checking out jeans for £20, t-shirts for a fiver, that sort of thing and staff are always friendly and cheerful, in my experience. I generally don't like shopping for clothes typical bloke, really but this is one of my favourite places to get a new thing to wear. Definitely worth a try.

This shop is on one of the main shopping streets in Bedford, close to Debenhams. The entrance is very large and is similar to all River Islands. They stock a large amount of womens clothes, a small section of shoes and a small section of accessories. They also have good sale stock for when it is that time of year. Upstairs is the men's section which I believe is quite large compared to others. I have found the staff very reasonable in this store - for example I wanted a dress, but it had a mark on it, so the manager offered me either a discount or the chance to return it if I washed it and it didn't come out. This shop is always a good place to look if you want a nice outfit, for males or females!

They stocked items which were more suited to general fitness or non regulation wear. I also found that most of what they sold was more geared towards very young children or adults, with nothing inbetween, however if that is that you are looking for then they are competitively priced and stock a reasonable range. This shop is not easy to find as it's not in Bedford town centre and I doubt many people would be able to tell you where it was! It's probably worth calling the shop before setting off to find out if they stock what you want.
