I don't know if you guys keep audio recordings of your intake assistants' communication and I…read moreapologize for giving you such a bad rating, but the first point of contact of the company is technically the gate of all communication, and unfortunately, Angela wasn't just uncooperative, but she was petty and vindictive. I had a meeting scheduled which I waited for. It was scheduled for 5PM but she had called way after that; that's not an issue though as I gave it some wiggle-room. It started off fine and formal but she was pace-policing immediately, so if I said anything more than she wanted to hear, she'd interject. And the thing is, I know how this dance goes. I only give pertinent information during this call, they're not therapists or partners, they're intake assistants. They handle the brunt of the emotion and potential plaintiffs and defendants. I would wait patiently even though she'd constantly snap-interject over whatever I was saying. She'd constantly interrupt what I was saying to add unnecessary and pointed interrogatives, like "okay, yeah but who?" and I would be like "...the next word I was going to say was literally their name. Why do you keep doing that? Why do you keep interjecting like that? You keep interrupting and not letting me talk every time I speak." And she ignored my question, she just pretended like I didn't ask her anything and continued on with the interview. Then whenever I'd ask her a minute question like if she needed anything, she wouldn't respond at all. She wouldn't acknowledge my questions or inquiries, and she'd only resume when she wanted to. So I just patiently put up with it but she got petty about it. Eventually, once again - she kept doing the thing where she would interrupt me to ask redundantly about the thing I was about to say, like she knew she was being obnoxious. Eventually I was saying how I was mistreated and I used an F-bomb as in "The company got caught red-fuckin'-handed" and once again, she starts talking over me and was like, "LET'S KEEP THIS PROFESSIONAL, WE'RE ALL PROFESSIONALS HERE, NO BAD LANGUAGE" and while she was doing that we got disconnected, and I don't know if she hung up on me on purpose or if I or someone near me bumped my phone, and we tried calling each other back. She left a voicemail saying she doesn't know what happened but if I want to work with her, call her back. I called back, she picked up the phone and left it off the hook for five minutes. She was talking to someone else in the background but she just left it off the hook after telling me to call back. I thought she might've just wanted me to wait on hold or something, and then she just hung up on me after a few minutes and didn't answer the next time I called. It's a concern because if I were a plaintiff in this case, and I needed immediate intervention and assistance from someone from Valli Kane, and she was behaving like that and was the one handling the inbound communication? We'd be detrimentally fucked. Strategically she is a liability, and I really didn't appreciate the way she treated me. Please be careful guys!

This group very clearly only cares about money. I submitted a form through their website and…read morescheduled a free consultation. The consultation was not with a lawyer but instead someone who took notes and chastised me for talking "too fast" then cut me off after 10 minutes. They only asked about one facet of my claim and did not ask me to elaborate on more serious allegations. Then they called me back to tell me they weren't taking my claim, which wasn't a surprise because they clearly didn't care about my case from the beginning. On top of this, they replied rudely to my Google review and implied that I was "troubled". If you're going to consider this firm just note that you have less than 15 minutes to concisely "sell" your case to these people and you better talk slowly or you're going to be yelled at.

The eviction process is never fun for a landlord, especially in a state that is more friendly to tenants. But I was happy with the result, that I got the eviction warrant in about 6.5 months, even though it was during the holiday season, I was very grateful to get a trial a few days prior to Christmas, and the trial went very well. I got my rental home back about 2 months later, after waiting for the sheriff to put it on schedule, because Long Island has many homes on its list waiting. Glad that everything turned out well, and I made the right choice choosing David.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS IRASCIBLE MAN and here is why…read more On November 16, 2023 Mr. David L. Witkon, Esq was appointed Guardian Ad Litem to represent the interests of my adult handicapped son in eviction proceedings. Through no fault of my own (my ex ATTORNEY husband stopped paying the mortgage without my knowledge - resulting in foreclosure, auction and subsequent eviction proceedings from our home). Mr. Witkon first contacted me on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 4:30pm. We were scheduled for court the following Monday, December 18, 2023 at 9:30am. So to say he waiting until the last possible moment to call and obtain information is a complete understatement. He was appointed 30 days before making initial contact, and until the last minute! When Mr. Witkon called I explained to him that both Luke and I were home with a terrible flu like illness for the past three days and I was in no shape to accurately speak to him (medicine head), but because it was so late in the game due his lack of consideration and calling at the 11th hour, I acquiesced and attempted to answer his questions. Mr. Witkon was dismissive and disrespectful in that conversation, speaking speaking over me. When asked if he needed to actually meet Luke he said, "based on your description of your son, I see no need to met with him." On Sunday evening, December 17, 2023 Luke and I took a rapid Covid test at home which was positive. I went to court (wearing a mask) to notify the court of the situation. As a Physician Assistant practicing medicine for more than 30 years I am more than aware of the Covid safety guidelines. When Mr. Wiitkon, (25 minutes late), arrived he was informed of the positive results. He IMMEDIATELY started shouting at me to get out of the building. Mr. Witkon called me and asked me if I could produce a photo of a positive test strip proving Covid. I explained it was a home test, and my garbage is collected on Monday mornings, so I could not produce it, but, I stated I would happily get a doctors note as we were seeing a physician 3 days later. Mr. Witkon was incredibly rude, shouting and speaking over me to the point that I had to say several times, "If you continue to speak over me you will not be able to hear my answers - remember God gave you two ears and only one mouth, so you should listen twice as much." I can't even begin to describe the horrible, condescending manner in which he spoke to me, a 9/11 First Responder, handicapped child, a woman he had never met and knew nothing about........ Mr. Witkon actually said, "Your lucky I was able to get this case adjourned." Sir, Covid got this case adjourned, you Sir showed up 25 minutes late, proceeded to lie to the court by saying you told me to bring my son, when you clearly stated on the phone there was no reason for you to meet with him. Mr. Witkon actually had the audacity to say that he did the best he could for Luke. Again Sir, if your best is contacting your client at the 11th hour and browbeating them after they clearly tell you they are sick in bed with your overbearing, rude, over talking, condescending manner, than I am truly sorry for the rest of your "clients". I realize that Mr. Witkon was court appointed, and therefore this case was pro bono for him, but did he have to be so incredibly rude? In a text message with Mr. Witkon I informed him that I would NOT be able to work with him and I further informed him that I would accurately reflect our interactions in a thorough review. On December 20, 2023 Mr. Witkon filed paperwork with the court requesting to be removed as Guardian Ad Litem, stating that I threatened him. Well, Sir, if stating that I would write an accurate review clearly reflecting all of our communication is a threat, than I suggest you conduct yourself in a more professional manner with respect and kindness. I look forward to sharing our text conversation with the court at our next scheduled date, as I firmly believe Mr. Witkon should at the very least, receive some type of sanctions for his treatment of both me and my son, Luke.

I recently closed with Mason & Mason representing me and my partners on a commercial retail/office building in Queens. Bill Mason helped me navigate a series of obstacles that nearly cost me the deal. I spent many months of due-diligence and Bill never allowed me to place myself in a precarious situation where I would lose my down payment, all while perfectly balancing my interests in getting the deal closed. I would not have made the deal at such an incredible price without Bill Mason in my corner throughout this process. I have closed many complicated real estate deals, but this one was so much more involved then my previous transactions. Thankfully, Bill's depth of knowledge on the matters at play carried us to the finish line. He was on top of every detail and made sure I understood them well and even worked to help mediate issues on the sellers side. You would be working with one of the best real estate attorneys if you choose Bill Mason.

After shopping around, I went with the attorney who wrote me right back; he also happened to be the least expensive I found. They were extremely thorough in their investigation of the condo and made sure everything was precise for the closing, which took about three months. I would highly recommend their services to anyone who needs a real estate attorney in New York.

I was dismayed because they charged twice as much as the law firm who did our refinancing just thirteen months ago (yes, rates came down enough to make it worthwhile to put myself through h--- for what ended up being seven weeks this time). Anyway; my first several contacts were with a paralegal and she was always incredibly impatient with me (on the phone), plus she neglected to tell me something critical that consequently ended up causing me lots of anxiety and wasted time (inexcusable). However; the (youngish) lawyer was a really nice, easy-going guy. I dealt with him towards the end and he also handled the actual closing (I told him in no uncertain terms that I didn't want the paralegal anywhere in my vicinity). Btw, this lists the wrong address; they're located at 1250 Broadway.
