Lovely cafe! Well crafted specialty coffee drinks with a heart for non profits and social good. The pea and pistachio salad has the most delicious citrus dressing full of summer vibes. The server was warm and friendly. The space is perfect for a chat with a friend. Free 2 hour parking in the building - just let the cashier know your license plate.

Came by for a little Sunday lunch. They validate the garage with a $15 minimum purchase which is reasonable. The space inside is cute. Very open, lots of plants, and chill I ordered the pnw adventure salad and the tropical smoothie. Smoothie is refreshing, not too sweet, and surprisingly, not overpowered by the banana. The salad was pretty good, but the croutons were a little stale. I loved the sauce and addition of capers and blueberries. Service throughout was nice as well. You order at the counter, and they bring the food out. Everything else is self serve. Overall, good vibes!

I love this little cafe! The food is tasty AND beautiful (it is a personal pet peeve of mine when food is cute but bland) Here, you can eat to enjoy with your eyes and taste buds! The cashiers/baristas are always friendly and helpful with suggestions. It seemed to be quite busy when I went both times (weekend afternoon) but was able to find a place to sit.

As good as last time we visisted 7 years ago. Still the best for brunch. Sitting in its office-like room, it may not be very friendly for Instagram posts. Without a professional light, I'd have to adjust white balance on photos in post-process. Probably to try a by-window seat next time.

The cafe has great ambiance. The overnight oats and my latte were delicious. The service was amazing. I love that they are community centered. 10/10

We were looking a cute cafe place, and we found Bellden cafe. Sadly they sold out the sourdough bread. The person who took our order seems a bit pissed about something but oh well, it's not a big deal. The place was very cute and I love all the decor, especially the bird cage booth. The salad was really good! The dressing paired so perfect and it's not overpowering. We didn't know there's only one waffle but it's very tasty. Kinda bumped it's only one waffle. The coffee was okay. And the banana bread matcha was not good in my opinion. It tasted overly sweet and I asked for less sweet. And it did not taste like the good matcha. Overall I think if you order coffee might be better, and their food overall pretty good.

I came in around 11am on a Thursday and there were a few seats occupied. The brunette woman helping me at the front was kind and patient while I perused the menu. I settled on the Mt Olympus toast with an extra slice of the PNW since I couldn't make up my mind. I also ordered the Belldens White Mocha, which was not overly sweet surprisingly. As I sat and ate, the place received plenty of customers who also chose to dine-in. Service was great, atmosphere was beautiful. You are expected to bus your own tables, common at small coffee shops. I street parked on the west side of the building, requiring a slight climb up the hill back to my car. It was free though, so no complaints! I would return to "work from home" or if I was in the area and looking for a cute bite. In total I paid $36, not including tip.

Came here for a quick bite and to meet up with friends on a Thursday. We knew the pricing would be up there, as is common for Bellevue coffee shops like this, but we were hoping for a bit higher quality in food/drink. I got the immunity fighter smoothie and it was just a very standard tasting smoothie, it wasn't even fully blended. It just tasted like something I could have made at home, and for $9 I was hoping for something more. Food followed the same fact pattern. The service was friendly here, absolutely no issues with that! The ambiance is what you're really paying for, which is fine I suppose. It's a nice place to get a coffee and hangout with some friends. You can get some work done too because they have a couple privacy rooms where you can take a quick call if needed

Food and coffee was really good! Nice place to hang out with a decent amount of seating.

I used to come here pre-pandemic when my office was located in Bellevue. Now that I work remote I don't go to Bellevue as much and only recently stopped back in here for a treat. I got the pink avo toast and market toast because I wanted both savory and sweet. THEY WERE INCREDIBLE. I also got the iced caramel stand still... best coffee I've ever had. It tastes like coffee flavored haggen dazs ice cream! On top of that, the vibe is so cute in there and the woman at the counter made my whole day. She was SO friendly and welcoming and seemed genuinely interested in giving each costumer a good experience. I mentioned I was treating myself by ordering a coffee drink because I had recently got a ninja cafe espresso machine and was making drinks at home normally. She mentioned they offer a drink free if you buy 2 bags of beans. I have been trying different brands and figured I would give theirs a try (I'm sooooo glad I did because I'm obsessed. It's so tasty!). To top it all off, she knew that ninjas require you to "waste" some beans when you're dialing new ones into your machine so that you can get the grind setting right. Without even asking, she gave me a free cup of beans to use for that!! I can't wait to come back again soon!

What a cute little cafe! I really felt like it was spring in here with blooms galore and a fantastic garden wall. Drinks were fantastic as well serving up creative specialties along with all your favorite classics. From espressos to teas, I got the sense of delicious quality with a touch of love. Speaking of love, yes I got the milk heart art in my latte (the mark of an upscale cafe???). Brenna was an awesome barista. Very efficient and still warm and welcoming with a smile! Spring time latte (5): I love lavender so this community drink really stood out to me. It did not disappoint. 10% of their community proceeds go back to the community too! Smooth, hint of lavender and sweetness from the honey. This likely will be my go-to. Overall, wonderful cafe. Nice inviting seating area. Happy staff and perfectly made drinks. Can't ask for more.

Came here to study after an appointment in Bellevue. The cafe is relatively spacious with a cozy vibe. There is free wifi and public restrooms. The service is friendly and accommodating. I love the amount of gluten free options they offer here! Not the cheapest, but it's Bellevue so is expected. Oatmilk latte: 4/5, good yummy, would order again, not acidic Daily soup: 4.5/5, super yummy, slightly oily, very small

LOVED the blueberry matcha!!! It was so tasty and delicious, I couldn't stop drinking it. It is on the sweeter side for a matcha, but the flavors worked so well. I also got it with the matcha waffle, which by itself would have been okay, but with the berries on top each bite was DELICIOUS. I thought this cafe was super cute inside and the employees were super nice. It was BUSY when I arrived, with a line almost out the door, which took maybe 10 minutes to get through. Worth the wait!

The presentation was absolutely brilliant! However I thought the taste fell short of the visual delight. The Ube S'mores was more like a light Ube foam instead of Marshmallow Ube S'mores. Parking ended up being a bit of a walk, which had me second-guessing the decision at first--but I'm glad I stuck with it. The moment I walked in, the space felt thoughtfully designed. The flow of the café is one of the best I've experienced--open, comfortable, and easy to navigate. As soon as the door opened, the barista greeted me right away. The counter is positioned close enough that you don't feel awkward hovering like in some cafés where the bar feels miles away. It immediately felt welcoming. I visited on a weekend during a slower period, but since the café sits right next to a college, I can imagine the line spilling out the door during peak hours. At quieter times though, the layout works well--there's enough space for a couple people to wait without crowding the entrance. I ordered a cortado and an almond croissant. The croissant came warmed, and the texture was spot on: fluffy, layered, and not overly greasy. The almond filling had a really nice balance--nutty with just enough sweetness and a hint of salt to round it out. I was told the pastries are made in-house, and it definitely shows. It tasted like something made with care. The cortado itself was solid--pretty classic, nothing overly fancy. One thoughtful touch I appreciated was that it came with sparkling water, which was great for cleansing the palate. The space itself is fairly spacious and works well if you want a quiet moment to sip your coffee. That said, most of the seating is high stools, so it doesn't really feel like the type of place to settle in and study for hours. Overall, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and quality of the food. The one thing that caught me off guard was the price of the croissant at $6.50. It tasted great and I understand prices in this area tend to run higher, especially for house-made pastries--but it's a bit outside what I'd usually spend. So while I definitely think it's good, it might not become a regular stop for me simply due to location and budget. Still, a great find and a pleasant surprise during a routine coffee run. This is the largest Mercury's Coffee location in Washington. I've been to the Kirkland location, which is drive-thru only, but this café offers a completely different experience. A fun fact is that Mercury's headquarters is located right next door to this location. One of my favorite things is that many of their pastries are made fresh in-house, and you can actually watch the staff preparing them. Their croissants are always a great choice, and I also highly recommend their breakfast sandwiches. They even serve pizza if you're looking for something more filling. When it comes to drinks, Mercury's has some of my favorite organic coffee beverages. The Caramel Macchiato is my go-to and one of the best drinks on the menu. The café has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, making it a great place to meet up with friends, study, or get some work done. It's easily twice the size of the Redmond or Kirkland locations, so it feels much more spacious and comfortable. After waiting 10 minutes while several customers who ordered after me received their drinks, I went back to ask about it. Instead of apologizing, the cashier was rude and argumentative. Eventually, another employee tried to process the refund and told me to check my card in a couple of days. Because they brew each cup on order, I expected the tea to be more apparent, but in every drink I've tried it takes a backseat to other flavors. + DONG DING OOLONG TEA LATTE: I opted for light sugar and light ice. Despite being one of the most popular drinks, the tea flavor was weak and the cream dominated. It had a smooth consistency with subtle caramel notes, so it still tasted good, but I would have loved for the tea to shine more. At least the $1 addition of boba is pretty generous and I had enough for every sip! It was perfectly cooked with that nice chewy bounce. Since the boba itself is sweetened, going to 0% sweetness would probably be just sweet enough for me. + OSMANTHUS TEA w/ PASSIONFRUIT: Again, this leaned heavily toward the passionfruit rather than delivering a distinct tea flavor. (Side note: At the register, I received a sample of the High Mountain Pouchong Tea with Mango. This was sweet, super fruity and reminded me of mango nectar. It's really delicious, but only had a tiny hint of green tea.) + OSMANTHUS OOLONG HONEY TEA: I selected light sugar and light ice without toppings, hoping to taste the pure tea. I picked up the floral notes of the Osmanthus and the tea flavor came through a wee bit more than the other drinks, though still wasn't the dominant flavor. The amount of honey was on the verge of being too sweet, but the drink overall was refreshing and crisp. The new location in Bellevue Square is very clean with a few tables for two along the wall. It is consistently busy, so just be prepared for a wait. However, there are multiple employees preparing the drinks, so while the line appears long, they churn out orders pretty quickly without getting flustered. It's impressive! Given the steep pricing for the cup size and the weak tea flavor, Chicha San Chen wouldn't be my go-to spot considering all the other boba tea options in Bellevue.
