The food was very good and the room me and my mum stayed in was nice and big, with lots of lighting options. There was also a bath in the en suite, which is very impressive. The Ceili was a good experience also. Definetly a nice space. I don't recommend attempting to walk to the shops though as they are very far, so try and remember to bring everything you need. Probably the friendliest bar and hotel staff I have ever encountered

Just about two hours from Dublin, and you're on the wild west coast, though not wild enough that it doesn't have some of the best food in Ireland on your doorstep, and cracking activities for all ages and persuasions - surfing, horse riding, hiking and the rest. If you're gonna say you can't afford a weekend away, think again. It was 20 euro each for a 4 bed dorm (there were 4 of us, so not a problem) If you really wanna do it cheap, they have toast and cereal for free in the morning, free wifi, free surfboard storage, a nice kitchen and cosy sitting room. It's got a real homely feel - it's not fancy by any stretch of the imagination, but it did remind me of being in my granny's house down the country. Really welcoming and friendly, and totally casual. It's about a two minute walk to the beach as well, the same distance to Shell's (you will be eating here three times a day guaranteed - see my other review!), and right across from two lovely pubs. All in all, cheap as chips, cosy, friendly & gorgeously situated. What more could you need?

I had to explain to them the detail a second time as we had to get on with our trip. It clearly was a matter of the customer vs a vendor which we did not quite understand. If you are an American driving on opposite side of road and steering wheel on the right, perhaps they would understand. The food and location is great, parking is definitely a major consideration.

This is why I loved this property -- the VIEWS. It was quiet. It was nice. Breakfast was delicious and the same waitress who served us the previous evening at the local pub served us in the morning. Right out of a movie. Nothing but positive things to say about this place. The innkeeper welcomed my wife and me and our two teenage boys. We had a two room family suite with two different amazing views. Highly recommended. Oh, and he recommended the local pub for dinner which was fantastic. We would definitely return -- for a week, next time... Cheers!

We could see the mountains just from the view at the parking lot. We were able to check into our room early in the morning which was a nice surprise as we could drop off our luggage and explore. Our room was clean, very spacious and we had more than enough room for all our luggage. Unfortunately this Radisson didn't have robes or slippers for use in the room. If you don't have a car, this hotel is out of the way as it is not located in a convenient spot (not walking distance to the city). Didn't drive myself at night but it would have been difficult with how dark it was given there were no street lights. The breakfast was buffet style and had a decent selection of classic Irish breakfast items. Nothing fancy but it fuelled us up for the day. Suggest coming earlier for breakfast (9am or earlier) as it gets busier through the morning and you might need to wait for a table. We got to use the pool and jacuzzi. Swimming in the pool requires wearing a swimming cap which we didn't have so we purchased at 3 euros each. As we got there an hour before close on a weekday, it was not busy at all. We were able to enjoy the uncrowded facility. Overall, had a decent stay at the Radisson!

Ten of my family members stood here at the Radisson Blue Hotel and Spa in Sligo for a total of 8 DAYS!! We enjoyed all the amenities that come with our stay: breakfast buffet, gym, and pool. We also purchased three full body massages from the spa and enjoyed dinner here four out of the eight nights of our stay. The buffet had a wide selection and of course, everything you need to create your typical Irish breakfast! I definitely encourage people to get there breakfast before 8:30 a.m. My family and I would go around 7:30 most days and had the restaurant to ourselves! The staff was also very kind and welcoming. The gym and pool were nice. The hot tub in the pool area was not hot at all so that was kind of disappointing. You need a swim cap for the pool, so if you don't want to borrow one I recommend bringing your own! The ones they provide fall off easily anyway. The gym was clean and had everything you need to complete a typical session. The spa was beautiful. However, I was pretty disappointed with the steam room. When we were there it was not steamy at all and barely warm. I discovered later that when we went it was not working properly which was a bummer, I was really looking forward to using it. There were three of us that got full body massages. My boyfriend was dissatisfied. However, my father and I enjoyed our massages. If you have tension in a particular area I recommend brining that to their attention. The restaurant there was good. The staff was always really nice. Our waitress Made was always really nice and attentive. I notice the restaurant gets really busy weeknights. I definitely think more staffing would be beneficial to accommodate the hotel guests and outsiders that come to the hotel restaurant for dinner. Side note: on the weekends the hotel gets busy as it is a popular place to host weddings and parties!
