I went in for a checkup and clean - when Miranda (the dentist) sat me down to go over my xrays (required as part of my first time visit) she basically told me that it was going to be a quick consultation as there was nothing wrong with my teeth. She suggested that if i wanted to get my teeth straighter there was an option to fix this and they could provide a quote but it was for cosmetic reasons only and there was no pressure to get a quote for this done. My cleaning was done by Tara(i hope i got the name right) - i'm a smoker and like red wine and my last checkup was over a year ago, so it was a bit of a job - this was completely painless and the final results were amazing. I can't comment on pricing as i have health insurance and this was my first visit to a dentist in Canada (so i've no prior history to base it against). I'll definitely be going back to Miranda and her team for my next visit.

I know many people who's children have braces and none have had an experience like this, and all have paid less than half of what Dynamic charges. In addition I would like to add, FOIP protects the privacy of a person, there has been a few occasions that friends of my child have told her what the orthodontists have said to them about the status and progress of my childs teeth and they have as well talked to my child about others teeth using names. Prior to getting my braces on in my teens, I had to get 8 baby teeth removed that hadn't come out on their own. I also had to get an expander, as my jaw was too small for my teeth that were severely crowded. Dr. Brian Nebbe was my orthodontist at Align in Sherwood Park. He started me with the expander, and did my braces as well. I had my braces for 3 years, and was given a retainer, as well as a rubber mouth guard looking thing that was meant to help with my overbite. I have several friends from high school that had their braces at the same time as me, and I can say I am the only one that still has straight teeth today (and no, I didn't wear my retainer as long as I was supposed to). Dr. Brian Nebbe was always very nice, very gentle, and obviously did a really great job on my teeth! I highly recommend using Align Orthodontics.

I found it easy to access via transit and the waiting area was spacious as well. My appointment was reasonably on time and I now have a plan to move forward with which is excellent, really the best I could have hoped for. Not sure what services I will use here in the future (if any) but Dr. Reid Friesen was well worth a visit.
