Turkey with everything minus mayo add avocado and cranberries
    Allen S.

A fun small deli. The staff was very friendly. We had a roast Turkey with everything minus the mayo and added avocado and cranberries on rye. It is nestled in a corner of an RV park. It seems to have a good following. While we were there several people came in for to go items. The menu is on the wall but they also have a paper menu.

Stopped in today to grab a sandwich. The meat on the sandwich is almost nonexistent. $10 bucks for bread with lettuce tomato and mayo. Won't return. I

Meatloaf sandwich with provolone; hubby said it was tasty

Absolutely delicious! We stopped here about a year while on a trip and really enjoyed the food. We decided to stop again this year on our way home from a trip. Delicious fresh food. And a fresh homemade cookie with each sandwich. :) Delightful atmosphere (K-LOVE playing in the background). They also have Korean food that looks good, too, although we didn't try it. The names of their sandwiches are really fun; I forgot the exact names of what we ordered, but I got a veggie sandwich & swapped the cream cheese for hummus, and my husband got a meatloaf sandwich. Yummy! Definitely worth stopping.

Prices have increased over the years, but not offensively. My recent Assorted Delite "half" sandwich was $11.50 but still as big and ginormous as I last remembered and plenty of food for one big person like myself. The fresh rolls is toasted perfectly, not burnt, the inner white bread stays fluffy and doughy. There is enough ham, pastrami, and salami proteins to keep you satisfied, and just the right amount lettuce, tomato, and onion. The ingredients are nothing exotic, but somehow this magical delicious combination can't seem to be replicated anywhere else in the world except humble, dull, sleepy Novato California. I ordered a large sandwich extra crispy to go. Dropped a 10% tip in the jar and proceeded to wait for my order. Went back up to confirm I asked for extra crispy, and the guy at the register said I had. When I received my order, I walked out to my car, and squeezed the sandwich to test crispness. Nope. No crunch. Walked back in and said, "I ordered extra crispy and it it's not." The guy said. "You want it crispy?" To which I responded, "yes, that's why I ordered it extra crispy!!!" He said, "ok, I'll make it crispier for you," When it was ready, he said, "here you go, babe." Babe!? I kept my cool but Wtf? You don't know me and I'm not your babe. When I got home, I realized that yes, they had toasted the sub more... along with the tomatoes and lettuce. So I ended up with hot veggies, which made the sides of the sandwich totally soggy. Worst sandwich I can remember having. Thanks for nothing, 'babe.'

From the moment we sat down and the server came to our table she was completely unpleasant and had a major attitude. Very condescending but with a smile. It was as if she didn't want us to be there and took it out on us. If I were the owners I would seriously be concerned with this server taking care of customers. Unfortunately, we weren't able to try the food, but we weren't willing to spend our money in a place where we're not welcomed. So, we walked a few minutes down the road and went to the Grazie restaurant. Amazing experience. Amazing customer service. Don't spend your money in places where you get poor service. There are too many choices out there! ***I can't reply to the owners reply (there's no option in Yelp) to my post so I'm adding my reply here. I do hope the owner sees it. What's a shame is that owners like you don't take accountability for your servers providing poor service. If you were so-called only 10 feet away then you would have noticed that we walked out and you would have noticed that your server was rude and condescending when we asked her simple questions about the menu. If you were so-called only 10 feet away and you were such a great owner then why didn't you care that we were leaving? How about you take accountability for your establishment and your employees... you know what's really sad about this... as an owner this is how you respond? What kind of owner are you? After your response , why would I ever want to discuss this face to face with you? You called me a liar. If you don't care, and you want to respond unprofessionally, well, that sounds like a you problem. I was in the food and service industry managing multiple restaurants for many years. I know how to treat customers and when I need to have a conversation with my employees for their poor behaviors. I would definitely never go to a restaurant where the owner doesn't care about their customers experience. Good luck with everything!

Review #012 - 2026…read more Our group of 11 showed up at around 2 PM on Friday, June12th. The guy, who appears to be the owner, was not very pleasant when we asked him questions regarding their drink offers. I try my very best not to drink artificial sugar or food color because it's bad for my health! He stated that they use powdered flavorings and syrup so I assumed they were artificial so I decided not to get anything for myself. The kids all got a drink and as you can see from my pictures, the colors are very artificial! They all said their drinks were just ok! One of my sisters is highly sensitive to sugar as it will affect her palpations so she asked if their matcha had sugar and the owner said, "no!" so she decided to order her avocado shake with less ice and added a scoop of matcha. Sadly, the matcha powder has sugar in it so she went to let the owner know and he gave her a terrible attitude saying that she was being hard to please. For someone who has no health issue, a little sugar won't affect them. However, if your body can't process sugar, it makes a world of a difference. He kept arguing with my sister and finally went to bring out the matcha package and sure enough sugar was listed as one of the main ingredients. If you are in the business to sell food, you should know what is in your food products before telling customers that something isn't in that item, just in case a customer has an allergic reaction. I am very forgiving, but I do not like people who are too lazy to check before telling me that something is or isn't in my food/drinks just for me to find out after I've already ate/drank it! The worst part is rather than apologizing for your own lack of knowledge, you choose to argue with your customer to make them feel belittled! We are definitely NOT coming back to this place! Minus 10 stars for poor customer service!
