Then, she told this guy to apply nail polish, I questioned why there was none of the above and why no application of moisturizer was done and he said he thought the other lady did it already, She only told her to apply nail polish. When he asked her what's going on, she blamed my dry skin for her laziness to do the work she is supposed to do. I really should have stopped the service there and then, walked out and not pay these dimwits who will amount to nothing in life if they continue with their shady and discriminatory business ethics. However, I was desperate to to get my nails done so I let it be. Then, this guy who took great pains to say his customers says he's got an American accent and seemed offended that I said no, you don't, you have a British accent, proceeded to do my manicure by using the buffer you would only use when you are getting acrylics. Are these people even licensed to do nails? They applied the polish on my toes and finger nails with ridges of layers showing. i decided to choose my battle and not argue as they seem to lack the necessary skills to be successful in all ways. I scheduled a wedding hair trial appointment months in…read moreadvance and made a trip to Bath from the USA especially for this appointment/overall wedding prep. when i arrived at russell brooks, there was no record of my appointment. the woman I was emailing with (multiple times, who confirmed my appointment, who i believe is the salon manager) never relayed the information to the wedding hair stylist. planning a wedding from another country is difficult, and this salon made it even more difficult. the staff working when i arrived for my appointment, who knew nothing about it, were very kind and tried to help as much as they could- so for this I am thankful this salon is unreliable - please treat your clients with more respect and have more courtesy for their time moving forward.

They also do henna tattoos, bleaching (of facial hair), ear piercing and threading. First impressions aren't that good. The shop has a cheap look about it, with way too many hand-written signs advertising random services. With alarm bells ringing, I was only going to ask for a price list to take away, but the lady on reception was so friendly and professional I decided to ask about their 30-minute mini facial (£18) - and before I knew it I was agreeing to have one there and then. In fact, my mini facial didn't actually seem that "mini" at all. The beauty therapist thoroughly cleansed, toned, exfoliated and applied a mask to my face - and afterwards my skin felt as clean and smooth as it has done after a full facial at a far more expensive beauty salon. Despite appearances, this place is clean and friendly, and after this first experience I'd be willing to give it another try in the future.

They offer: Massage treatments, Manicure, Facials, Colouring - high / low lights, Waxing, and Makeovers. Eyebrow treading is cheap as chips (and a burger) £4.50 and they give you a nice shape and, added bonus, staff are friendly not snooty, which helps make those painful waxing sessions less painful.
