A Fine Touch Painting & Contracting

Fine Touch Painting is exactly the kind of contractor everyone hopes to find but rarely does…read more We were asking around for the best painting contractor on the Long Beach, WA peninsula and multiple locals pointed us to Fine Touch Painting. I called and spoke with John, who turned out to be the owner. He came highly recommended by many people in the area, and after meeting him in person, I immediately trusted him with our project. Within 24 hours, John came out to look at the job and provided a very competitive, detailed bid. His pricing was spot on and he never went over the agreed cost. For the quality of work delivered, his bid was by far the most cost‑efficient option we found. Fine Touch Painting exceeded our expectations in every way: They showed up every day on time. They coordinated seamlessly with other contractors on our project. Their quality, pricing, and scheduling actually outperformed a similar remodel a friend of ours did with a different contractor. The crew was consistently polite, professional, and kept the worksite clean from start to finish. John kept every promise he made, and it's clear he takes pride in both his craftsmanship and his reputation. I honestly wish I could find a contractor like John in my own hometown to handle all of my general contracting needs. I highly recommend Fine Touch Painting to anyone on the Long Beach peninsula looking for a trustworthy, professional, and high‑quality painting contractor.

I would avoid this painter like the plague. I am now finding out with talking to other painters on the peninsula that much of his work has to be redone.

His rates were comparable with other estimates we got but he was able to start the soonest so we chose him. Before & after of our bathroom

Sean has been the worst contractor we have worked with. We hired him for multiple jobs and they…read morewere all not done correctly. I was surprised at his availability and readiness to start the next project as mostly every contractor I know is super booked for months but I soon realized why... the work he did at our business was horrible. Here are just a few: * Did epoxy flooring in our basement. He blamed the floor and the product itself for it remaining sticky and then cracking. That could have been the case but he also did our stairs and did not bother to vacuum or sweep and just added the epoxy to a dirty floor which looked horrible afterwards as you could tell there was dirt underneath it and even some dog kibble. *Did some drywall and ceiling patches which have been the sloppiest I have ever seen. Even after I asked him to fix it, they remained super visible and raised. *Did some tile flooring and it honestly looks like I did it myself. From cutting corners and not cutting the tiles correctly to fit against the wall, to not doing the grout correctly (which we are now needing to redo), to not making sure tiles are even creating many trip hazards for my employees among other things. These are just a few of the things we experienced. I honestly feel super ripped off. His work is the sloppiest work I have ever seen and I have used MANY contractors. Yes, he is super affordable but trust me, you will end up paying so much more to have things repaired/fixed after he's done.
