The layout of the pub is a bit like an old house, with a big open space at the front and then a few little gardens in the back and on the side. The bathrooms are through a sunroom. The fish and chips were okay; the chips were nice and crispy but I felt the fish could have been a bit less chewy and more flaky. They also had a rabbit pie special when we were there and that was great; the pastry was light and flaky and the rabbit was tender and in a tasty gravy. I would have liked a bit more pastry since most of it stuck to the side of the ramekin but oh well. Parking was easy to find on the street outside although I can imagine it can get a bit busy in the evenings.

Simple request from a guest should be met....If a customer wants to talk to the GM or have their card deliver it to them no keep intervening with dispute resolution mechanisms. That said, it was cheap - at $110 a night inc breakfast it was really good value - and the staff were super friendly and efficient. I would stay there again in Bendigo.
