Great pumpkin farm to pick pumpkins of different varieties as well as sunflowers for the fall. We went here to do some pumpkin picking but got to experience other activities like the corn maze, and a hay ride. There are also farm animals for everyone to see! And they also sell food and drinks. There's plenty of room for kids to run around, and even a playground/obstacle course/swing area they can play in! We highly recommend this place! read more

A beautiful spot! Time truly stopped for my wife and I when we were here. It's such a special place!

This is a very cute farm to visit in the fall time. We tried the pumpkin funnel cake and apple cider slushy which were both delicious. The corn maze is well-built and easy to walk through, it's not too difficult to navigate but we made a couple of wrong turns and had to backtrack which was fun. Just watch out for spiders! We ended up buying a few small pumpkins which seemed like a fair price. Overall it was a nice Saturday afternoon at the farm. read more

We always have enjoyed going out to Belmont. The store, pumpkin patch, and corn maze were terrific. We live in the city and it's nice to be able to get some fresh air. read more

this is the best pumpkin patch/ farm I have been to I recommend going to Belmont Pumpkin Farm.
My husband and I came to check out the Belmont Pumpkin Farm while we were in the area. This family-owned farm has been around since '83, and the locals consider it their favorite pumpkin patch. They are only opened to the public on October weekends, where they offer hayrides, pumpkin-picking (yes, at the patch!), corn & sunflower mazes (the sunflowers are so pretty!), little farm animals (goats, rabbits, chickens, a turkey, a peacock, a little pond with a frog (!), and ducks), scarecrow-making, pumpkin painting, as well as the option to enjoy some of their food (pulled pork, famous pumpkin rolls (mmm, this one was delicious!), lemonade, and other desserts). It's a little difficult to find this farm, as they are right off of Route 617 on North; there is not a large sign, but just a small sign by the trees titled 'Belmont' with a picture of a pumpkin. It's $5 per adult, and you can pay by card at the food stand if you don't have cash to pay up at the gateway. The hayride 'master'/older gentleman was very sweet, and the nice lady up at the front was also pretty awesome in offering some recommendations on the activities. They have some homemade apple and pumpkin butter for purchase as well as a variety of gourds and pumpkins (priced by hoop-size). Cute little place to check out, and definitely a good place to bring kids/school groups! +opened only on weekends in October, from 10AM-4PM +try their famous Pumpkin Roll dessert! :D +fun hayrides (you get to pick a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch and see the nice sunflower field!) +$5/person read more
Went with the nephews here for a school trip to the pumpkin patch farm. They had SO MUCH FUN. There's a petting "zoo" and the kids pet goats, rabbits and sheep. There was even a baby turkey. The boys learned how birds grow feathers and the people running the farm were every so patient with the endless questions that five year olds volley. There's a really cool pick your own pumpkin patch and a corn maze. What farm would be complete without hay rides? They've got a really neat hay ride and of course there's a farm stand where you can buy the food they harvest and their home made apple and pumpkin butter. I wish I'd had a chance to pick some of that up. Pumpkin butter? That sounds awesome. They told me that there's a geocache on the farm and they "sometimes" do a haunted hay ride for Halloween. School groups can come any time with a reservation and the farm is open to the public on weekends 10-6. The kids had a BLAST and I'd definitely recommend the place for families, adults and school trips for elementary school kids. Their website says that they have all kinds of activities and I'd love to come back sometime...perhaps without a class of kindergartners to watch over so that I can take advantage of the more grownup stuff like the geocache and apple butter tastings! read more

Apart from the rain, the kids had a lot of fun, riding the hayride, picking their own pumpkins and walking through the maze. They also enjoyed having their faces painted; the farm animals and playing on the playground. Not only is the staff friendly and the entrance fee is reasonably priced, the farm is also quite clean as well. The only problem is, the entrance to the Belmont Farm is easily missed. Otherwise, we had a wonderful time and we will definitely go back there again next year. read more

Belmont Farms get big points for the display of farm animals, low entry fees, and hayrides. The playground was much loved even in all its simplicity. I would suggest adding a sign to indicate where to turn off the main road. I had to pull over and ask someone. Overall, it was a great experience. The pumpkins were adequate, the sunflowers were beautiful, and the staff was friendly. read more

Wonderful! Affordable, great food, tons of fun. We went several times the month of October because we had so much fun. My only complaint is that they aren't open in September. I also think they could open in December with a holiday theme. :-) read more
