We didn't end up renting our flat through Belvoir, so I can't actually comment on them as an estate agent. However, we did approach them about finding a flat when we were looking around Manchester, and they suggested a couple of properties. The girl who accompanied us to a couple of viewings was dressed in a very flashy manner and constantly texted on her blackberry whilst driving us to the properties. Not really the most professional behaviour. It immediately gave us quite a bad impression of Belvoir as a letting company. Booked a viewing over email, took an early lunch, cycled 25 mins there, waited 10 mins, called them, they say there is not a booking (Literally in email i have the booking). Fair enough, mistakes happen, I'm more than polite on the phone. I get told I can have another viewing at 6:00 after work and I also ask to get a phone call if the flat is sold before me getting there. I turn up at 5:55. Wait for 15 minutes. Nothing. I call them,they're closed. I wait until 6:45 on my Friday night, absolutely nothing, no phone call no email. Disgusting. read more

They do not show up for the viewings. When I called them them said that 'I did not confirm the viewing' which is funny because they have send me a 'viewing confirmation email' themselves. Than the lady on the phone told me that they tried to call me and left message in my voicemail (after the call I checked the voicemail and there was no message). Than I asked her what is the next date when I can see the flat. She told me that she will 'check in the database' when I can view it and she will call me back (which is bull****, she should be able to find out it straight away). And than I never got a call back. My impression is that they simply put adverts of the properties that are not currently available to get more people calling and if you are unlucky to call at such time they will book viewings and just not turn up.
