This place is every plant lovers dream, it's like walking into the rainforest, they have plants galore and even some adorable animals! They have 2 birds and koi fish and it fits the setting so beautifully. Let me start off by saying it looks like this is a mill with quite a few places inside of it, so they have a pretty good parking area. When you walk into you are kindly greeted, we met Adam who was a peach! There actually were quite a few employees, always around and willing to help, because plant galore is an understatement. Every plant is labeled and you can tell WELL taken care of. Adam and another gentlemen were watering the plants while we were there and you could tell, everything here is done in a very particular and careful way- I love that. When I say TONS of plants of all kinds I mean it. While my mother has a green thumb, and I just don't have plants because my cats will eat anything- I learned after the fact their website shows names and pictures of plants they have that are pet-friendly, so I want to indeed go back and grab some. This place you can get easily be in for a while especially if you look at everything. They also have pots and things of that nature and little trinkets and stuff. They also have a little area to grab Honey related drinks called The Hive Bar I wrote a review on this business. Feel free to check it out they're awesome and an amazing touch for this place. I 100% say go check this place out. Any questions, just ask an employee they're all so kind and know their stuff. Adam had all the answers we needed. Oh and I was shocked the prices were extremely reasonable, my mom left with a really cool plant- and I plan on bringing her again soon.

Thank god they clearly mark the entrance otherwise, it is a bit confusing. You kind of walk into a building hallway and then you can't miss the shop on the left. It's definitely a plant lovers oasis. It's a bit overwhelming how many wonderful things they offer. Multiple employees asked if I needed any help which I appreciated. I need to go back in with pictures of my space as I will certainly be taking them up on their offer next time. Also loved that they have the little infused honey coffee/drink spot inside of the plant oasis. Depending on what you are looking for they have small, super reasonably priced plants, and large plants that are going to run you a few hundred dollars. So whether you are looking for a showpiece or a housewarming gift, you'll be able to find it here! (Also loved the Plant Daddy branding!)

Best-laid plans succumb to the enchantment of nature's bounty…read more For the longest time, I never ventured into Prickly Ed's because, let's face it, with a name like "Prickly," I assumed it was a nursery for cacti. All this time I was missing out on a fantastic botanical wonderland with native perennials and a superb variety of pollinator plants. I've been creating a pollinator garden and word of mouth everywhere was to visit Prickly Ed's to stock up on plants. There are echinaceas, lobelia cardinalis, asclepias, rudbeckia, euthrochium spp., aquilegia canadensis, symphyotrichum novae angliae, liatris, shrubs, annuals and more. As you wander through the rows of plants, you'll be greeted by friendly staff who are more than happy to share their wealth of knowledge and gardening tips. I went there with my carefully curated list of plants determined to stick with it but as soon as I stepped foot into this botanical playground my addiction kicked in. The list was put away and I surrendered to the allure of Prickly Ed's plant bounty. I just can't help myself.

Explore seasonal offerings of organic herb & veggie plants and take comfort in the knowledge that all of the plants sold at Prickly Ed’s are grown by top Northeast specialty growers in environmentally sensitive ways. Get thine hiny to Hidden Gardens ASAP. Parking isn't obvious so here's the deal: pull into the Coleman Real Estate driveway and you'll see the parking lot actually wraps around the back of those buildings and you can enter Hidden Gardens from there. It literally feels like you walked into a secret garden. Stone pathways lead you throughout the space and you really get a feel for what these plants look like in a natural setting instead of lined up like 100's of soldiers on store shelves. They have a good variety of annuals, hanging baskets, feature flowering plants like peonies and roses, veggies, herbs and more. Their prices are very good and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I went in looking for a rose bush but admittedly I know nothing about roses. The gentleman working gave me a quick, concise tutorial and helped us pick out the best plant from his offerings. What I appreciated most was his realistic sales approach....as in he didn't try to sell us the plant, he just guided us and left the decision of whether to purchase there or not up to us. Bonus: they have a great old wooden birdcage with real birds!
