    Ice cream cake

A pretty great location for Ben and Jerry's. The go to place in Ucity to get good quality consistent ice cream at a good price. This specific location is located on 40th street along a cluster of different establishments. It is a short walk from a majority of places and easy to find. The area is also very nice and safe. They usually have a majority of the many flavors as well as the many cones. My favorite things to get are mint chunk or half baked, either in a cup or cone with chocolate. You can even have any ice cream blended into a milkshake The atmosphere here is very casual and the staff are great. Like any typical Ben and Jerry's, the decor is light colored and full of cows. This location has a couple of tables, but not many. If you decide to come here on free cone day, be sure to get here early. The lines gets very long and you will have to wait. It is always a great experience though. You can also purchase pints of ice cream as well as ice cream cakes from here. They come in all flavors and are very good. The cakes are a little more expensive since they are full cakes with ice cream, but they do come to 3 sizes. I have tried their cakes and they are very good and make someone's birthday very special. Overall a great location! This is one of the only places that has ice cream in the area so this is a definite hotspot. Highly recommend for ice cream!

Super happy with my experiences at the store. I've been in several times and there's always a short line, though likely because I go in at non-prime hours. I eat mostly the vegan flavors, and really they don't taste too different from the real ones! Cherry Garcia in particular, super chocolatey. I also decided to get my friend a going away cake, and since he's a little lactose intolerant, I bought a cake and asked for lactose free ice cream. They accommodated! The cake was ready in less 24 hours and ready for pick up early. I got whipped cream frosting, but there was an option to get it plain or just use icing instead to write the words. Baked goods are alright, but stick to the shakes, scoops, and pints and you'll be happy. They close pretty late, so to skip the crowds, go in for late night post-dinner snacks or earlier in the day before school gets out. Enjoy!

Cherry Garcia has been my favorite for years. But buy it from a supermarket on sale for $2.50 per pint. It is too pricey at this store.

B&J ice creams still much too sweet, just go and eat sugar if that's what you need, and it's cheaper !

Date of visit: October 18, 2025…read more Selections: Numerous to the point of being overwhelmed Experience: We visited this place right before we left for the airport and I regret leaving this for last because we bought so many treats that we had to reconfigured into our suitcases. This places literally had rows and rows of eateries and places to get treats, snacks, and goodies. It was pretty crowded when we went and I'm not sure if it was because it's been hyped up as a place to visit or because of the No Kings Parade that had just ended around the time that we got there. We went down each and every aisle and I had to resist the temptation to have a second lunch because of all the variety of foods offered, including Filipino food that my husband actually ended up getting food from. We mostly leaned into getting sweets from various booths to enjoy on the way to the airport/at the airport as well as ones to take home to enjoy. I wish I could've brought cheese home, but for sure it wouldn't have lasted or held well. There was a discount with parking at the Hilton if we made a purchase, but couldn't figure that out, so ended up paying full price when exiting the parking structure. Would definitely come back again to actually eat there!

One of the hallmarks of the event is that we break the attendees up in smaller groups for meetings around town. I am so glad I discovered Tomato Catering. First, the food is fresh and delicious. It has that made from scratch with love and care feel. Over the years I have ordered the Nonna's Chicken, the Fajita Bar, Chicken Marsala, the Mediterranean bar, and a bunch of their salads. Our attendees love it. As the event coordinator, the next most important thing aside from taste and quality is meeting dietary needs of our guests. The Tomato Catering team is excellent here. All of their signage is clear and their dressings are vegan and again good. Super helpful. When you speak to their team whether it's Camille at their HQ or Jan at the West Chester location who made the food, they are extremely professional, on it, and and will make sure things are clarified so you never feel worried. We were able to coordinate delivery to each of our locations and their team setup the meals beautifully. Whether you are planning a personal event or a corporate meal like I was, I would absolutely recommend Tomato Catering without any reservations. They will be my first call again next year when we host our event back in West Chester.

As soon as I opened up the adranos, I noticed the sesame seeds were super aromatic coming off the bread. The sandwich itself was delicious although I would have liked slightly more oil & vinegar. The franklin was the favorite of the 3 sandwiches we tried. The turkey was really good and I loved the bacon jam with arugula pairing. The fig pig was also good but a little heavy on the cheese. It was sweeter than the Franklin even though both had jam. The prosciutto was god tier. Really meaty and moist. While I was waiting for my sandwich I noticed 4 other people come in and order the fig pig! The cashier told me that the Franklin is one of the most popular. Service was very friendly and ingredients are fresh & high quality. Inside is small- just a counter to order with the sandwich making station behind it. There's also a small market. There were a couple of small outdoor tables which was nice. I'd come back in a heartbeat.
