We hired Jeff Barnes, the owner, for our recent home inspection. He told my husband he didn't want him there for the inspection so he could "focus on the house and let it speak to him". My husband insisted he wanted to be there for the whole inspection and they settled on a time. When my husband arrived at the house, Jeff told him he had already finished and decided to come two hours earlier b/c he wanted to see his granddaughter later that day. He did not even bother to tell my husband of the changed time. He rushed us thru his findings and didn't seem to want to show us details around the house. He also took no pictures. I question if he even inspected what he says he did. The first thing he said when my husband met him in person was "Are you going to pay with a credit card or with a check?". He is very unprofessional and it is very shady that he arrived 2 hours earlier than the agreed upon time. If you want an honest, reliable, and qualified person to inspect your home, do not hire this company to do so. read more
