I took the inferno sculpt class with Heidi (or maybe it was Molly) during a recent trip to Bozeman and truly enjoyed the class! I am a member of CorePower which is a great workout but not your typical yoga experience and I have not felt a sense of community there. Bend beyond was also a great workout but offered such a warm and caring environment that was so refreshing! I loved how everyone cheered each other on during class and found it really motivating. The studio was beautiful and I loved the mountain mural. The only thing that would enhance it is toiletries in the bathroom such as shower soap and maybe things like lotion and deodorant. I also really appreciated the cuing and focus on form. The only other feedback would be heavier weights! I didn't see heavier than 10lbs. Overall it was such a great yoga class and I'd highly recommend this studio! read more

I am new to this studio, but there is an authenticity at Bend Beyond that makes you feel like you don't have to put on some front and would be a welcomed addition to the community. I've definitely been to yoga studios where staff and students alike didn't make eye contact, and I legit felt anxious walking into... not the case here! I would recommend this studio to anyone who feels like their yoga practice has plateaued or been stagnant, along with anyone who had a bad experience or feels intimidated by yoga. They have a variety of classes that each stay true to their discipline and are consistent from teacher to teacher. I think the negative reviews must be from people that are not familiar with bikram hot yoga. (Yeah... you get SWEATY). But I've never thought that it smelled bad ;) and I've seen people cleaning the floors after class. I have practiced yoga fairly regularly but recently have been dealing with injuries. Random yoga classes would only exacerbate my symptoms, but I believe the hot yoga sequence and classes are helping. The teachers are understanding, offer modifications, and are encouraging in a time that can feel rather discouraging. Super grateful for this egoless studio! read more

If you like hot humid yoga in a room that reeks of sweaty gym socks, then this is your place. When I walked into the room before class started, I almost turned and walked out immediately. I'm disappointed I didn't trust my instincts. They did not clean the floor from the previous class, students were walking out dripping in sweat as the next class filed in. The teacher repetitively instructed deep back bends at the very beginning of class, which any well-trained teacher would know is an injury waiting to happen. The only reason I have 3 stars is because the staff and students were friendly. This studio is an olfactory nightmare! read more

In the first six months as a member at Bend I tried as many of the instructors as I could to find a good fit for my skills/schedule. I found that I love each teacher for different reasons and that the offerings at the studio are a great balance of classes from traditional hot yoga to challenging flows. For 10 years I have loved the flexibility, patience, stamina, endurance I have gained by a consistent Bend Beyond Yoga practice. The room is hot (really hot) and my aging muscles love it.... I know because don't scream at me with all the stretching and crazy bending, like they would otherwise. And I never have to take an Ibruprofen! The teachers are professional and kind! This is in the same space as Bikram Hot Yoga used to be. I thought since it was no longer BHY owned the changes would go beyond branding. totally wrong. When I came out of the dressing room ready to start they told me that I would have to pay double the intro price because I had been to one Bikram class over three years ago (and had sworn never to go back). As i asked about it being a new business the two ladies at the front fumbled over each other saying its a new business, but the same, but new....hhhmmmmmm.....I went and got dressed. I politely told them my reasons for not wanting to be associated with Bikram and she was quick to tell me that they are not associated and that it's a completely new experience....with pilates!! yay! at 6:15 AM, getting the stink eye like I was trying to lie to them was pretty frustrating, and then to not even get a straight answer about their ownership all too telling. They obviously know that some people are well aware of what BHY was, and still have some affiliation with them. read more

Perhaps I just had an unsympathetic teacher in a particularly foul mood, but I have never had such an unpleasant experience in a yoga studio. I have practiced yoga for 15 years with many different teachers and in many different studios, much of that was Bikram style hot yoga. This was a one-of-a-kind, practically laughable class. The teacher was extremely condescending to many students; their rules are (unnecessarily) strict; and frankly, their policy of never letting people leave the room, is unsafe. Plus, it smells like they have never aired out their studio. Ever. It smells like a swamp. I've done a lot of hot yoga and I know stink, but this is downright the stinkiest. read more

This yoga studio is nice but the stench in the yoga room is unbearable. I was shocked when I walked in the door. I wanted to turn around and walk out but we had already paid and I didn't want to make a scene. Maybe it's just me - I didn't hear anyone else complaining. read more

I just moved to Bozeman, and conveniently found this Bikram Yoga studio down the street from my home. Everyone is so nice and welcoming, which is great because it makes me want to go back every day! The studio is clean and offers a nice locker room, at least on the women's side! The teachers are sweet and they make you work hard during class! It is really a nice, peaceful environment to practice your yoga in. read more
