We loved Ron Witt. HP represented my husband, as guardian, for his severely disabled brother. In January 2025, my husband passed away. I tried for weeks to get someone to respond to phone calls and emails. Only when I contacted the court did HP respond. It seems our attorney, Katie Kok, was on maternity leave. This is no excuse for not returning messages. After 6 weeks Katie responded to my communications. My brother-in-law was left high and dry for 3 months until the papers were filed for a new guardian. He currently has no guardian, cannot get health care, and his social security benefits were cut off. Once Katie replied, everything was done very quickly. Then, on May 8, we were notified that Katie was leaving the firm and HP would no longer handle guardianships. We were told HP would hand off our file to another law firm. I responded to their letter, asking about fees charged by the new law firm, but never received any reply (as usual). As I said above, HP was always very good to us regarding fees as my brother-in-law lives on Social Security. I am retired and am the only family member that helps financially. Knowing how much they will charge is of great importance to me.

Hired Attorney Trimyer 1.5 year ago, presented my case, delivered documents for the anticipated litigation. Spent time, energy, resources (expert reports etc.) and went for the first deposition only to find out that my attorney, Brian Trimyer was not objecting to anything during my deposition but actually was supportive of the opposing counsel. Being on a good side of the 'high power lawyer" was more important for Brian Trimyer than to fight for client's interests and, ultimately for the truth. I had to deal with an unexpected, sudden death of the loved partner and multiple legal issues risen out of his death. Instead of effective legal guidance and sound advice, I found more problems and hefty legal bills without results! I would not recommend Brian Trimyer to any consumers who are seeking solid legal guidance in any stressful circumstances. The hired legal help supposed to guide, support, fight, object, uphold the rights and interests of the client. Period.
