There is nothing fancy to this restaurant/bar which stopped their clock on the 80's. Feels like dining inside a bungalow, but the difference is that this bungalow is glass encased and with AC! Wait staff is ancient too, very cordial and know their menu like their back of their palm. Ate Batatas Portuguesas (freshly made kettle fried chips), fried cubed provolone, which were amazeballs! Forget moz sticks, heavy breading, Italian seasoning. It's just plain breading, very light, and cheese was oh-so gooey. Drooling yet? I felt like one of those movies from the 90's where while in the 60-70's this family builds an underground shelter and live decades in it and only 30 years later came out to check post apocalypse.

Sadly, I did not find the Churrascaria do Bosque to be better than the Fogo De Chao. In fact, it was not as good. Choosing this place was easy as they have a shuttle and were willing to come pick us up at the Airport Marriott where we were staying. They do get points for that. Once there, however, the food was just OK and I even found some of the meat to be overcooked or over-seasoned. There was a ton of food, just none of it was particularly good. Stay away from the house red wine. It was undrinkable and I should have ordered beer instead. Overall, I took away a couple of stars because the food was underwhelming and the prices were up there with what I would have paid in the US for better food. The service however was very attentive. They had one or two folks that spoke English and even the ones that didn't made an effort to be helpful, which I appreciated.
