I had a great experience with Benjamin Moving Company yesterday. I searched high and low and by far, they offered the best moving price and had a same day turn around time. There were no hidden charges like with these other moving companies. We went over what I wanted and he worked a deal with me and provided a flat price and this is what I paid. There was no extra charge. I had to clean out a family member's apartment and place their items in storage and unfortunately for me, the storage place was going to close before the movers could get the items there. Pedro from Benjamin Moving called me immediately to make arrangements for my items. His guys were very professional, respectful and very "GENTLE" with moving our furniture. When we arrived the following day to the storage facility, despite a small hiccup, they got working and handled everything within a timely fashion. I had a great experience with them and would use them a 1000 times over. He even called me to ask how his workers were doing and once the job was done, he called again to be sure that I was satisfied with the service. I am glad I ran into Benjamin Moving. 5 starts is definitely not enough! I used Benjamin Moving in April to move my Medical practice from Aventura to Ft Lauderdale (excellent service!) and I used them again this weekend for a residential move. This was a big move, from a 5 bedroom home, with complicated furniture to disassemble and fit through narrow doorways. Pedro (Owner) brought 2 additional men and I was amazed how quickly and efficiently they worked together. The most impressive part was when they had to fit everything they packed up from a 3000sq ft house into their truck and then repack it into my storage unit. I was sure I would have to rent an additional unit and instead they fit everything perfectly, stating and strategically carefully placing everything like a puzzle and even left room to spare. They worked diligently for 6 hours non stop - through the heat and rain and were so professional. Without hesitation I would recommend Pedro and Benjamin Moving Co for ANY business or residential move and without a doubt will definitely be utilizing their services in the future. I wanted to come on here to compliment and thank Pedro for being outstanding. I located this moving company for my aunt and uncle who are both in their later years upper 70's and 80's and were both very anxious in hiring a moving company to handle all of their precious belongings. I can assure you when you're that age you get attached to certain items as if they were your own children and in trusting someone to handle that is very hard. But with out one ounce of doubt I would recommend Benjamin Moving Company to anyone who's looking to move. I would give them more than five stars if possible, super friendly and hard working. I'm not sure why a few people have given them 1 star stating that they cancelled last minute because if anything they stepped up to the plate in less than 24 hours. On the moving date my aunt had gone with another company and just an hour before arrival one of their movers contracted Covid and they were unable to help. These guys were amazing and worked tirelessly to get my move done. Moving is hard and I really could not have done it without these guys. When looking for a quote, Pedro was super responsive, uncomplicated and very well priced. I booked him and he quickly sent my HOA the necessary insurance docs to reserve elevator. On day of move he arrived on time with 2 other guys and set to work. We started at 9.30am and they literally did not take a break until we finished at 11.30pm. They were careful with all our stuff, never complained about anything and nothing was too much trouble. I thought I would get it all done in 8 hours... but they did whatever was needed to get the job done. I'm immensely grateful. Pedro Castellon was thorough, and answered questions clearly and definitively (yes/no, specifics, exact numbers when possible). Confirmation went by without a hitch. Moving day comes, and his guys come on time. Laid out my plan, big furniture, and boxes is the priority. Priority items were disassembled, wrapped, and properly reassembled. Heavy boxes properly sorted. We weren't totally done packing and they even helped with the "incidental boxes". We had a minor access issue, but Pedro and his guys on the phone resolved it in a professional and reassuring manner. There was a minor language barrier, but between phone translators and his guys' professional attitude, my move was pretty much easily sorted. These guys were a life saver for me and my family. We needed to be moved and everything placed in our storage unit and only had one day 3 bedrooms, and when the 2 man team arrived they got right to business. They are really careful and wrapped up everything they have to, placed all my items on their truck neatly and strapped down. I called them this morning at the last second because the sale of my stuff fell through and Benjamin called me right back and his guys showed up by noon and I explained that I could not go over the 2hrs and they assured me that they could handle it and they were so fast and courteous with all my stuff I had and everything was moved and taken very well care of.
