For example, she knows that my chronic hip issue requires more: she stretches my IT bands each time, giving me more of a range of mobility and helping hold my adjustment longer. Dr. Scarfe also cares by hiring good people: for the front of the office and even a massage therapist. Just today, I visited the office as a walk in. She was busy, right before lunch, yet she fit me in with a smile on her face. We moved away from Auburn three years ago: it would be more convenient for us to find another chiropractor, but we wouldn't dream of it. We make the trip once or twice a month, and it's always worth it.

The vet had prescribed her steroids, and when they were finished there was not much improvement. We were beginning to worry that we might be forced to put her down. However, we decided to take her to see Carissa and after four or five visits Josie has improved remarkably. When I called to cancel the receptionist immediately had an attitude and tried to talk me out of it even when I informed her that this came from my primary doctor. I then had to have my daughter advocate for me because she was not excepting my instructions to cancel the services. Mind you this is all I needed to do. She then told my daughter that the hospitals and doctors don't understand what they do. And that my daughter just wanted me to take medication I don't need. Her tone was so rude during all of this and unnecessary for what I wanted and needed to do. My daughter then asked to speak to the office manager after this was stated and the lady on the phone said she was the office manager and still proceeded to try and convince us not to cancel the services with the worst attitude. My daughter finally had enough of her and told her she wanted the service canceled and whatever balance that was on file needed to be refunded. This is beyond ridiculous and very unprofessional. Who ever this office manager lady is should be fired and should not be telling someone what is best for them. I ended up trying Kehres based off an anonymous recommendation, and it worked out wonderfully. I've probably had about 15 massages in my life, and I think I can honestly say this was the best I've had. Suzanne was my masseuse, and she was very communicative and professional. She wanted to be very aware of any injuries or sensitivities, and would occasionally make sure the amount of pressure she was using was comfortable. I had a 90 minute massage, for which they charge $90 ($1 a minute), and it was well worth it. I was worried that the heavy amount of pressure I wanted would be hard to maintain for 90 minutes, as I'd never had a massage longer than 60 minutes, and as it was practically the end of the day, but the pressure and quality of the massage was top notch the entire time. I'll definitely be back.
