Bennetts is best described as a mini version of Halfords, located in the centre of Sale Moor Village. I was in there for a steering wheel lock for a friends Ford Fiesta... like most southerners, she was visiting from the South and slightly nervous of leaving her precious car parked on the mean streets of Manchester (even though, as I pointed out, we were in Cheshire where it's oh so different!) Anyway, I digress... We headed down to Bennetts as it was within 5 minutes of home (as opposed to 15 minutes to our nearest Halfords) and they came up with exactly what we needed... The staff were friendly and co-operative without a hint of condescension, and within two minutes we were paying for the high visibility, high security gadget that we came for. The customer parking spaces (both of them) were ideal for allowing us to park right by the shop... handy in Sale Moors dire one-way system! Top marks for Bennetts! read more

Bennett Motor Store has had a few names over the years but the staff have always been the same friendly faces with lots of knowledge and very helpful with questions and fitting instructions. If your really stuck they will also help fit wiper blades, lights etc. I will always recommend them as I have never had a bad experience with them (unlike Halfords). read more
