I used to laugh at the ladies at how they would only go to a certain salon and make appointments…read morewith only a certain stylist, until I came across Kevin. Now don't get me wrong, Kevin gives good cuts. He's always open when I need a cut, and for that he was my backup guy for a while. His price is reasonable. But my problem is with how he treats kids. I often bring my son with me for a haircut, like my dad used to do with me. But even from the very first time I walked in with my son he barked at me about cutting his hair. I've been in the chair, and someone calls asking about kids cuts and he hangs up on them. But my son sits quietly, watching videos on my phone all the while Kevin is complaining about the noise and telling my son to turn it down. And he complains that I shouldn't let him be on the phone. Oh son, don't mess up my magazines. Even when I go alone, he's still crabby. As I said the haircuts are fine. Not a fan of the attitude. I can tolerate it myself, but being disrespectful toward my son. Can't do it.

His stylist cut his hair in a way that got a lot of hair on his face and forced him to try to blow it off his mouth and nose. When he did this she said "don't spit on my cape buddy that's not cool". I couldn't believe she was talking to a 6 year old this way that she has no idea how his brain works differently then everyone else.There was several other comments made as well. I was so put off and just disappointed that I spent 90$ for his and my haircuts, only to leave with him breaking down from this experience. He's had his haircut several times and has never been this upset about it. We'll be finding somewhere else to take him. You should also find another place to take your kid.

She them proceeded to call him a liar and said he never said that. If she was unsure what needed to be done she should of asked since he was there with an adult and only 12 years old. She was very unprofessional about the whole situation.

If I could leave no stars I would.... Just went to great clips over by Walmart. Worst experience of…read moremy life. My usual lady wasn't there which I didn't want to do in the first place. But I said I'll give it a try..... yeah no either sticking with her only or just will wait. They sat me down in the chair and didn't even spend five minutes on it. She used a 0 and another guard and that was it for the side. Drenched the side in water.... Which I've never had a hair stylist do when going back in with clippers.... Then ran thinning sheers a couple times through it and said we're done. That's just the first part..... then we had gotten a coupon a couple weeks ago for me and one a couple days ago for him in the mail........ I'm already extremely upset but just keeping my cool. She goes to enter the coupons which takes her what seemed like forever and then says one of them have been used........and then says "looks like it's going to be full price". Knowing that I wouldn't have gone in the first place because I'm not the person to go get a service and not have the money..... they were rude asf and didn't even try to help resolve the situation. All the good stylist left and I won't be back here unless I see the one lady I go to there. I could sit here and wish hateful things on them and cusss, this that and the other. I wasn't five minutes into my cut before the old man started spouting racial slurs "N word this and that." His son tried stopping him "not to new customers" he said. On top of that he completely destroyed my hair cutting if off center and shaving it up high in the back. It's a small town, and I'm sure everyone knows each other here, but I've never heard anyone be racist that openly and do a terrible job.
