I had a cracked screen on my Google Pixel 6a and took it in for what I thought would be a fairly straightforward replacement. Alas. My soul proceeded to leave my body over the course of the next FOUR WEEKS as I traipsed back time and time again to try and get the phone working again after the crappiest workmanship possible. The first screen replacement they did broke the proximity sensor - meaning I couldn't use my phone as an actual phone. Then they stuffed up the fingerprint sensor too. They kept saying "oh your phone will be different after a screen replacement" and mansplaining. What a joke. In the end they agreed they stuffed it up and offered me a crappy bright orange replacement phone. I ended up forking out for a new Samsung elsewhere as I didn't trust that the crap replacement would even work. Probably the worst tech / retail experience I've ever had in my life.

He told me $1300.He was polite and helpful and even charged my replacement phone. Today I went to Fixaphone and saw Chris.. He looked at the phone and told me immediately to make a warranty claim and even told me from my 'recent' on my temporary phone I was using that I was in the 24-month Warranty period. Why would I go anywhere else other than Fixaphone? I offered to pay for the considerable time he spent with me- he declined. I will always go to FIXAPHONE.

He didn't know the tablet well so wasn't aware it was for a media card but thst wasn't his fault as I didn't give him the opportunity to research it properly and was adament it was where the sim card was located. He was very patient and helpful and refused to charge me because it was such a simple job. In all honesty if he had charged me I would have been disappointed due to the issue being resolved so quickly. So great morals and work ethic too. I later found out from Samsung that the tablet model I have doesn't have sim card capabilities. Very happy. Hope they do well.

After trying a few different cables (and I'm not sure exactly how I managed to acquire them), I was forced to accept the inevitable. My phone had turned into an expensive brick. I checked into MKC in Melbourne's city centre after finding them online. My iPhone had stopped recognising when it was connected to recharge, so I took it in and was told it'd probably be either the battery itself or the dock that accommodates the cable. The conversation went like this: Me: Hello. My iPhone is a brick. MKC: What's wrong with it? Me: (Explained what was wrong with it). MKC: Oh. That'll probably be the battery or the cable dock. Me: Can you fix it? MKC: Probably. Give us an hour and $79. 60 minutes later, I was handed back a fully operational, functioning phone. Brilliant. Staff were friendly and straight-talking. I was happy with the price. I hope I don't have to visit again, but if things go sideways, MKC will be my first port of call.

I brought in a 14-inch 2021 MacBook Pro that had suffered liquid damage from a hot starchy water spill. The laptop had completely stopped turning on. No power, no normal signs of life, and from what I had already been told elsewhere, it sounded like the kind of problem that often gets written off as not worth fixing. From the start, IT-Tech felt like a different category of repair shop. They were realistic about the risks, but they also clearly understood that this was a board-level problem and not something that could be solved with a superficial clean. What I appreciated was that they did not pressure me into an open-ended money pit. The arrangement was clear: if they could fix it, there would be a set repair cost, and if they could not, I would not be charged. That mattered a lot. Frances in particular was excellent to deal with. She was kind, calm, and professional throughout the whole process. She communicated updates clearly, explained where things were at, and made a pretty awful situation feel manageable. When you are handing over an expensive machine that seems dead, that kind of communication matters a lot. The repair itself took around 3 weeks, which to me actually made the whole process more credible. This was not some rushed same-day guess. It was clearly something that took proper investigation, labour, and probably sourcing or deeper board work. In the end, they got the machine working again. When I picked it up, the MacBook powered on properly, the display looked great, the speakers were working well, and overall it was obvious that the laptop had genuinely been brought back to life. That was a huge relief. They also gave me a receipt and explained the warranty. Overall, I found them fair, technically competent, and trustworthy. I would especially like to thank Frances for being so decent and helpful through the whole thing. Liquid damage repairs are never simple, but based on my experience, IT-Tech Online are the kind of people you want handling that kind of job.

I took my Macbook Pro in for repair after being told by another store that it would be better to replace my mac, sighting water damage and not fixable.
