The staff at the Berean Bible Society are exceptionally gifted in their understanding of the Scriptures. For years and years I have been involved in the evangelical Bible believing Church but have been confused with the apparent contradictions within the Bible. Like many of us, I suppose, I was quick to accept the traditional understanding of the Bible and was quick, also, to look down at those study notes that are included in many of our Bibles. In my quest to better understand what God was like and how to resolve all those questions I had, especially with all the so many views and interpretations out there - I have finally come to a place where I can say with all my heart that my personal convictions about God, salvation and His plans regarding His chosen people, Israel and His established Body of Christ today, are cleared up entirely. THANKS to the written material and the long back and forth correspondence with the people at the Berean Bible Society. You have helped clear up so much in my mind. Believe me, I am a cautious fellow, always aware of the many weird doctrines out there, but I am equally open minded to realize the majority of traditional thinking may not be entirely correct simply because a certain leader or a certain Bible Revision Committee, or a particular seminary founder claims to have the edge of properly interpreting God's Word. I have been so freed on confusing areas such as election, pre destination, how people in the Old Testament were made right with God, the proper relationship between works and faith, the dilemma in the book of James, the real meaning of the 7 churches (assemblies - Hebrew meaning of the word), in the Book of Revelation, and the list goes on. Well done to all at the Berean Bible Society and the many others who think hard and long to convey what, I believe, is the closest thing to what God has always meant in what He has said in His written word. read more
