There really is something for everyone here. Craving a Belgian waffle? Check! Have a hankering for some sushi? Well, they have it here as well. Just want some tacos? Of course! You get the picture. Oh yeah, also some wine, beer, and cheese places too!

Anyway, decided to visit the place by my dearest friend's recommendation; I was not disappointed at all, a great adequation of this old space in the bohemian heart of Guadalajara. the project is still ongoing and there're a bunch of empty spaces but so far is looking sharp! Lo Bueno We ordered seafood small plates from "La Muerta", tbh the best tacos gobernador I've had (we even ordered a second plate...), a very well done Michelada (which in GDL are made with clam and tomato juice) this is hard to achieve, and the aguachile encacahuatado was yumy yumy. you can see the slow traffic street from the terrace with all its people and bikes passing by, a perfect spot to heal a hangover or to look for one. Lo Malo What's the point of having a bunch of restaurants in the same place if you are not allowed to order from a couple of them from your same table?? of course they don't tell you not to, but when we went ahead and ordered an appetizer from the restaurant next door (something that this place didn't even have in their menu), we had to ask for permission for it to be brought to our table because it was La Muerta's territory... come on people! i'm sure we can all be less greedy and share a little... Also, don't even bother ordering a Club soda lemonade (limonada de agua mineral)... they do not know how to make them...

This place is in the heart of downtown Guadalajara. A definite must stop. The outside is so dirty, tons of trash and musty puddles of water everywhere. But honestly, I think it's part of the experience. Upon entering, the restaurant workers are really pushy to have you sit at their stalls. Be strong and walk past them. The ones by the door are usually way more expensive than the stalls on the interior white lots of more interesting food options. As far as food goes, it's really a hit or miss depending on where you decide to eat but most places are a hit! Just be ready to be interrupted by vendors selling anything from candy to cheese graters every few minutes. Also, tons of beggars asking for money. Overall a fun place to visit if you want an authentic cultural experience. It's not for everyone but for me, I absolutely love Mercados, the good and the bad.

It felt very unsafe due to the extreme crowds and the constant pressure from people asking for money. Carrying a purse or personal belongings was nerve-racking the entire time. This is not a place I would recommend for shopping, especially if you're not familiar with the area or traveling with valuables. However, there are many other great stores one street before you reach San Juan de Dios with plenty of options to browse and shop in a much calmer environment. I strongly recommend going there instead.

To my surprise, this place turned out amazing. They made me alternate options and all food was top notch!! Even my non veg friends loved it all. The flavors of the food was amazing. A good fusion of Mexican/Italian/gourmet. The chef here knows is food. We had a ton of drinks, some good, some just ok. Desserts were very good and the service amazing. It's not a " cheap" place as far as Mexican standards but a really nice place to bring company or visitors to the area. The ambiance is eclectic and colorful and they even have valet out front. It's a must try in the Minerva area!

We caught an Uber to a warehouse district and found a large metal sliding door across the front of a building with a small sign of I Latina. I would of driven right by the location. What was behind the door was 180 degrees from what is on the outside. Surprise, they had a large open setting with a cool vibe bar and several different seating zones. We sat in the covered patio area that was breezy. The train going by sounds like we were on the track. We ordered two appetizers, the spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce and tuna tacos with sauce. The spring rolls lack a real herb punch and were a bit bland. The tuna tacos were delicious with a real flavor blast from the sauce. One must try the tuna tacos. For dinner we ordered the Pad Thai with shrimp. This was over sauce and appeared that the sauce was poured over the dish once assembled. It was definitely not a meal I would order again. The grilled shrimp with Thai spices and a small side salad was better. The vibe is very chill and a bit eclectic. The dishes were either hit or miss. I did not enjoy the chain smoker we were seated next to as that has not happened in years. A drink or appetizers here may be a good stop at I Latino. The decor and setting is enjoyable but the food falls short for me. They need to spend more time refining the dining entrees. I will not be returning but loved the builing.
