Entry was very smooth-employees were quick to scan tickets and warmly welcome patrons to the venue. Security guards were also kind and laid back while still being professional. The acoustics here are excellent, and I really enjoyed the experience of being in the front row. The barrier is very close/level to the stage, so it feels like an intimate concert experience. I saw Morrissey here 8/6/16 and it was all around an incredible gig.

I wouldn't come back here but they had American type food here and not Norwegian. Not than many places to eat in the shopping side of Bergen unless you want a coffee and a bread item. Our local friends love this bar and often invite us to meet them here. When the theatre is in session- it's quiet, chill, and relaxing. There's a small surge of people during intermission and then it gets crowded and lively after a show lets out. The beer/wine selection is sufficient for essentially a theatre bar and it's a great place to have a group of friends meet up. The library and balcony provide a slightly more intimate setting than the main room, but it's generally good for conversation as there isn't music playing loudly or a band to overpower conversation. A bonus moment happened in which we also shared a beer with one of Norway's most famous actors (as declared by our friends). Apparently it's a performer's chill spot for a nightcap.
