I bought a brand new GMC truck from them in 2018 and when it almost caught fire from a rear window defrost electrical short (that shattered my rear window and put my daughter in harm's way), I reached out to my "Bergey Family" and they say "sorry, but there aren't any open recalls so there's nothing we can do." I can not say enough about the professional treatment I received, my salesman was Terry, a gentleman and very knowledgeable. Terry worked with my credit union and basically applied for my loan for me, I didn't do a thing. and when I picked up my vehicle I found that the loan APR was a full point lower than quoted... NICE ! This service department took advantage of me, they lied about completion time and removed personal items from my vehicle. When I finally was able to track my belongings down, the only option that I was given was to come back to pick them up! The ownership/management could care less about honesty integrity or customer retention. I have been told to call to discuss this on several occasions and always get voicemails with no return calls. I have written letters with no acknowledgment. This occurred in October, so it's been 4 months. Stay away from this service department read more

My ride fell thru so I was unable to drop my car and go home. I opted to wait for it. Convenient hours available to do so. Nice waiting room tho coffee would've been nice lol. Other than that the wait was what they said...1 hour. Staff is friendly and I plan on continuing to come here. They say you shouldn't go to a dealer for work on your car but I honestly feel that Bergey's is honest and fair. Service department is very good. Sales department offered $400 dollars off list on a new car and then consultant scrolled through computer "looking" for factory rebate money instead of offering a true Bergey's discount. Not sure if 1990s sales techniques work in 2021. read more

I contacted your dealership on Thursday with some very specific requests and questions after having another dealer essentially try a bate and switch after wasting a bunch of my time. I first spoke with Kevin at your dealership who listened, answered my questions, made me feel re-assured and then transferred me to Peter for some finance questions. Peter was also very friendly, thorough and was quick to help. Peter called me back in an hour after exploring options for me and explained the basics of the offer and I agreed to come in Saturday, February 1, 2020. When we arrived, we were pleasantly greeted by all and what I was told on the phone remained true in person. Kevin was thorough in getting everything set up in the car and teaching us. Not your typical dealership. This family friendly dealership makes car buying stress free. We just purchased a GMC Terrain here and the process was so smooth thanks to John Rider and his team. I sent an email requesting a quote, which John promptly replied to. I spoke with him on the phone and he set up all the financing with the business manager. By the end of the day we were driving home in our new vehicle. I would highly recommend Bergey's and make sure to ask for John Rider. This is not a regular dealer. You can feel the difference the minute you walk in. We bought a certified pre-owned and Scott made the process easy from the start and provided excellent customer service. Absolute worst service ever. Had my truck for an entire day and did NO work on it. Never called me, I had to call to find out. Then when I did call and was upset, the service rep was rude and condescending terming what happened as "shotty service". I later called and spoke to the Service manager Andy who seemed concerned with the bad experience. After a lengthy conversation, Andy stated that he would look into the pricing to try to make it right and would call me in the morning. No call and when I showed up to get my vehicle, no discount was on my bill. This company has rude and disrespectful service folks and a manager who flat out lies to the customers. Horrible! They failed my mother in laws buick stating the window tinting strip was 1/4 inch too low and illegal. Window tinting is not a state inspectable item therefore they failed for absolutely no reason but to line their pockets for a reins pectin fee. If you want to thrown money out the window then Bergeys is your place. Never again will they get my loyal in laws business who had bought multiple cars from them. The sales men at bergeys are the best around. However I would not take a car in for service ever again. I had an issue with my power steering lines. They fixed the lines and then did a normal battery test. They said the battery was showing low voltage. When I picked up the car all the service lights were on in the car. Abs, engine, 4wd, airbags, etc. They told me it was because of the battery. I took the car because I want going to pay them 200 for a battery. I replaced the battery myself and the lights stayed on. Finally took the car some where else and they showed me where the wires that would have needed to be disconnected to do the power steering were not fully reconnected and none of the straps that hold the wires in place were reconnected. It's almost like they just expected they would get the car back. read more

I bought a 2014 GMC Terrain from Terry and had an amazing expierence. I've ran into issues with it from my check engine light going on. He told me to use my onstar to see if they could see what was wrong, I did and got it right over. He responded quickly to me by e-mail, which is my best way of communicating with my job. He got me a loaner car, same make and model as mine. My family bought two brand new cars from him in January and I would recommend him to anyone. Any issue i've had with getting service done he has gotten fixed for me. read more

Please do not think of buying a car here!! They do not stand behind their sales, they sell junk and will say and do anything to get the sale and then ignore you when you have issues. They sold us a car with a preexisting condition, the problem occured in the warranty period and they pushed it off until the warranty ended and then had the gaul to say "oh the warranty is up". In this economy please find someone reputable like Car Sense!!! I am sorry I couldn't give negative stars. Hopefully they will be out of business soon. read more

Worst experience ever getting my truck repaired! Took my truck in (gmc acadia) November 2014 and paid over a thousand dollars to get my stability traction control fixed. However, 4 months later in March, my stability traction control light came back on. I took it back to bergys and was basically told oh well it's a new issue with the stability control and needs another 800 dollars in repairs!!. After spending over a thousand dollars they wanted another 800 dollars four months later for the same issue! It was never thoroughly fixed the first time and they wanted me to pay the price! My wife and I just purchased a Pre-Certified 2014 GMC Terrain from Bergey's. Our sales person Glenda Bergey Leatherman was a joy. She made the experience truly painless. She got the ball rolling prior to us arriving with the credit review/approval. With the financing already out of the way we weren't sitting around for hours. The entire process took maybe 2hrs total. Jay Kircher our finance associate was informative BUT not at all pushy. He laid out options to consider but NEVER made it life or death which I will always respect. Once all paper work was signed and completed Glenda walked the wife and I through the setup of the Phone system, SiriusXm, etc.. and answered any questions we may have had (again Professional Service from Beginning to End). I would recommend Bergey's to my family and friends, because I know they will be treated with care and respect.
