They have delightfully shaded large outdoor patio offering perfect afternoon ambiance. Our waitress was prompt, cheerful and happy to speak with us in English. Most of the tables were reserved, but they were accommodating and said we could sit wherever with a 1.5 hour maximum time. That was no issue for us as we originally only stopped in for a quick bier and rest. But after seeing some of the food delivered we decided on a very early dinner. It was the best food of our entire 7 day trip through Germany. My filet was cooked to medium rare perfection and the perch and ratatouille was remarkable. Perhaps the most surprising was my salad (side option); a large mound of butter lettuce spring mix tossed in a light dressing on a bed of cabbage, carrots and beets stole the show. Our son wanted a cheese pizza which was not on the menu and they obliged. Excellent experience all around!

Sat outside to have dinner with my family. In the middle of the meal a rain started and we were…read moreforced to carry the plates and glasses indoors ourselves. After that the staff asked us to wait at the reception (with plates in our hands!). Several minutes later, the administrator said that there are no free tables, it is not his problem and we have to leave into the pouring rain, not having finished our meal. Insulting level of customer service!
