The beer isn't just your run of the mill stella. Instead it is a selection of bottled beers from both the UK and overseas which are more unusual. I haven't worked my way through them all (yet) but there are no doubt lots of enjoyment to be had doing so. Of those sampled so far the beer brewed by the Redchurch Brewary has been particularly good, if a little pricey.

It is basically a standard off-license, except the selection is on the larger end of the scale. Aesthetically I love the shop front. The colorful price tags really give the place a sense of fun. I'm not sure what the reason for their price tags being so big and bright is, maybe to emphasize their cheap prices? I don't know, but it's definitely a nice touch. I guess the difference in the majority of off-licenses is minimal. I would tend to rate them on big their selection is, and how friendly the staff are. This one gets extra credit for having a big selection, friendly staff, and an aesthetically pleasing shop front.

They regularly do wine tastings and definitely cater for the more discerning customers - without alienating those who are after some good advice.
