Selecting Bernie Hipos Wedding Films was truly one of the best decisions we made regarding our wedding. Just to give a brief description of us, we (Jen + Warren) do not live in Vancouver. We actually live in Winnipeg. You can imagine how difficult it was to do our research when we don't live in BC and the many worries that go along with it. During our planning stages before we even chose Bernie Hipos, we even thought at one point, is getting a videographer even worth it? Especially seeing how expensive a wedding can be, we can totally understand how some people might want to opt out in getting one. However, we ended up coming across one of Bernie's other wedding videos he had done, and immediately fell in love with his style of shooting, that was within our budget. We ended up choosing to go ahead with having a videographer for our wedding day. Bernie was a joy to work with before the wedding, during the wedding and even afterwards. We even told him to make some adjustments 2 weeks after the wedding, and he had no problem editing the video as we pleased. Communication with Bernie through the whole process was a breeze. Not only was it easy and fun to work with Bernie, he always remained professional. After receiving our highlight film, we shared the link on our Facebook pages, so all of our guests would be able to see the video as well. We received numerous compliments on our wedding video, not only from our guests but other people as well. Just the highlight video itself captured our joyous moment perfectly. One of the things we cherish most about the video is being able to see so many of the amazing reactions and interactions of our guests that we would never have seen without the footage. Bernie and his team portrayed the essence of our day - from start to finish. We are glad we didn't opt out in getting a videographer, because now every time we get that "I wish we could do our wedding again" feeling (especially since the day went by so fast), we can rewatch our video and we are completely transported back to the happiest day of our lives. We had a wonderful experience working with Bernie. From the moment we saw a sample of his work we knew right away that he would be perfect for capturing our wedding day. My husband and I are so happy that we came across Bernie to do our wedding video. My husband, being a cameraman/videographer in his home country, was very picky when it came down to choosing someone to do our wedding video. Once we saw some of Bernie's previous videos we knew this is exactly what we wanted. We had a big wedding party full of my brothers, cousins and close friends who were all there to have a great time. Although we had a traditional and big wedding, we were not the typical formal bride and groom and wanted it to be a relaxed fun environment for everyone and Bernie did a great job capturing that! There were so many things going on that day, and so many things I had missed that I'm glad him and his wife were there to get all those moments for us. Bernie was professional, responsive and very attentive to detail. He was the easiest vendor to work with. Out of all the videographers I researched, the way he capitvated me and my decision to choose him was how he filmed and shared the story of all these couples. When i received my highlight video and full documentary video, i cried, because the way he captured it really pulled on my heart strings he knows to to highlight and pin point special moments in the wedding and really make them magical. Everyone from my wedding that has seen his videos raves at how beautiful, heart felt and gravitating they were, even people that have seen it through social media that weren't at the wedding messaged me and tell me how beautiful it was and that they too teared up. I would highly recommend Bernie to anyone I know. He literally was the best videographer and i've researched probably more than 20 and his work stood out the most!!! Hiring a videographer was a last minute decision, and one I was worried would not be worth it - but I was wrong! I found Bernie just through online searches, and through only communicating via email, I know he was the right fit for us. He was very responsive and provided us with a great value. We purchased a package that included using him all day (no assistants) and getting a full edit, as well as a highlight and facebook teaser. We have received the highlight and teaser so far and are BLOWN AWAY with the finished product. Beautiful, emotional, amazingly edited, and drone shots of our venue. My husband wasn't very interested in getting a videographer but he believes now that hiring Bernie was the best decision we made. Wow, wow, wow! We, like everyone, did a lot of research before hiring Bernie as our videographer and could not be happier that we did! Bernie was the definition of professional and was somehow able to get incredible shots throughout the day without us even noticing he was there.
