When she got there they told her that since she didn't confirm the text on Saturday, that her appointment was canceled. Even thou they sent her a text this morning stating when she arrived for her appointment to wait in the car. Then we spoke to the assistant and manager and they refused to see her today. Also stated that the Dentist requested her to go to the ER beforehand to make sure she had no trauma to her face, since she fell. She didn't go because she just had a scrap under her nose and was in NO pain from the fall. I worked in Dentistry for many years and we've NEVER canceled a person appointment because they didn't confirm nor request they go to the ER before an appointment. Why should she acquire an ER bill when it's NOT warranted. My daughter took off work for this appointment and the least they could do is squeeze her in. I tell you customer service is out the window. To my surprise, I experienced absolutely no pain or irritation in my TMJ at all. I also have a phobia of dental drilling sounds, which made me even more anxious beforehand. Dr. Gary was incredibly patient, reassuring, and kind. He explained everything, assured me the procedure would be quick and much easier than I expected, and he was absolutely right. After I was numbed, the implant procedure took less than 15 minutes. I was amazed at how fast, smooth, and comfortable the entire experience was. Dr. Gary was extremely gentle throughout the procedure and continuously made sure I was doing well. The staff was equally amazing--from the front desk to the dental assistant in the treatment room. Everyone was friendly, professional, caring, and made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in. Great experience at Dental Care at Quail Hollow ("DCQH") in June 2026…read more Patient care: Dr. Patel, the dental hygienists, and the dental assistant, were attentive, patient, thorough, and gentle with their tools and equipment. Additionally, they explained things in terms that made sense for treatment moving forward, leaving plenty of opportunity to share dental history and ask questions. Staff approach to administrative details: Scheduling was easy and fast online through their chat, and filling out all necessary forms was equally as efficient. On top of this, staff attention to compliance of patient privacy at workstations (computer) and in reference to patient names was the best I have seen in a long time of any medical office that handles private patient health information; This was demonstrated when the dental assistant asked me to hang tight for a moment prior to transitioning from the x-ray bay to the patient room, and again when moving between my room and my family member's treatment room, where I saw other staff closing out of programs prior to bringing patients in or out of other rooms... also when discussing information at the reception desks, and in calling family members back into the treatment areas (which other medical offices should take note of!). Patient comfort: The atmosphere of the office is clean and well maintained. Lights are low (where possible), and music was generally calm. There are small bottles of water offered throughout, and they also provide blankets, lip balm, sunglasses, and other small items to ensure comfort and completion of appointment goals. In addition, TV's are provided in treatment rooms with a plethora of options for patients that need extra distraction. We could tell that staff paid attention to certain details on the intake paperwork as they were very deliberate in assuring comfort for a family member during treatment. Last, an overall comparison of DCQH to other area offices: Finding a new dental practice was, at times, discouraging; When calling around, it was evident that many have lost sight of the patient, requiring separate appointments for each of: x-rays, exam, cleaning (I am not sure who has that much time to devote to going back and forth to the dentist, but we don't). But DCQH did all of this and more: exams, x-rays, cleanings... plus treatments, a generous amount of time with Dr. Patel and staff discussing details, and the staff collaborated to provide multiple printed work-ups for possible future treatment or procedures to take home for consideration. For all of the wonderful qualities that DCQH exhibited, we hope not to need to find another dental practice any time soon. Thank you, Dr. Patel and staff, for making what is usually a 'chore appointment' a comfortable and convenient experience from start to finish.

He wrote me a script and only charged me for an office visit. He's honest, and always has your best interest at heart. I also highly recommend the Dental Hygienist Pam McConaghey. She is amazingly thorough, gentle, kind, and has a great sense of humor! She frequently attends seminars to further her education, and you can tell she loves what she does for a living. The office staff is very professional. They offer a discount plan that actually works better than most insurance, which has helped me out when I was between jobs.
