Bernie has always done a great job repairing our appliances! He is honest. Once my dryer wasn't workin, I took it to him he said there's nothing wrong with it. He explained what could have been obstructing path, & loading unloading dislodged it. He easily could have cheated me out of a large bill, but I paid the small fee to have it looked at & went home with a dryer that has never given me trouble since. read more

We had Bernie's Appliance at our house for a washer repair. First the parts sent were not the correct parts according to Bernie, this is what warranty automatically will send(why would the warranty company send 2 parts without even knowing) then another part was ordered and another appointment set up. They ended up showing up at my house the day before my appointment and then reported it to my warranty place that nobody was home. When in fact, my appointment was the next day. The next day showed up they never showed up. When they would show up, they could never seem to get to my house much before 6 to 7 PM. When we finally got the correct part and Bernie showed up to put part, in I'm sitting in my living room and under his breath I can hear him swearing obviously things weren't going well for him. Then after he leaves, I get a text from him that says ma'am you need to call there's a problem with your warranty so I I said what's the problem he said warranty says that you said we never showed up for our appointment I said well you did today, but you didn't yesterday when I had an appointment. well when they call you or if they call you, please tell them I showed up. I will never recommend Bernie's to anybody friend or not a friend and the next time I need work done it will not be Bernie's. read more

My wife and I were on a limited budget when buying our new house. New appliances are outrageously expensive so we thought we found a good deal with these used appliances. The prices are very reasonable and the machines look decent, however Bernie is rude and unreasonable. When our washer stopped working after two weeks while under warranty, he wasn't willing to even to talk over the phone unless the machine was in his store. This is very inconvenient considering he opens at 11 A.M. and closes at 5:00 p.m. After a final phone call he was going to charge $200 to fix a $250 appliance. And when I asked how much he would take for the machine if delivered to him, he said $25. I would recommend buying a new one unless you want a washer to work for 2 weeks. read more
