And moving is traumatic!! I'm putting my stuff in storage while I decide what to do. I'm glad I found Route 4 Storage and Berwick Storage on Portland Street in Berwick Maine. Both locations are easily accessible, they have great rates for their storage units and the staff is very helpful and accommodating about everything. They even let me borrow their moving truck - it's available for customers on a first come first served basis via a sign up sheet. Dollies and other supplies are also available to borrow. So if you're ever put in a position like me, and need to move and store your stuff in a safe, clean place, please consider Route 4 Storage or Berwick Storage (owned by the same people). The woman in the Bellamy Knox leasing office, Amanda, purposely did not disclose necessary financial information for move-in so that the up-front cost of the apartment was a total surprise. This is only one small example of the underhanded attitude and lack of organization and communication at the Bellamy Knox offices. Amanda then deliberately miscommunicated regarding move-out procedure so she could keep the security deposit, even though we left the place spotless. Ultimately, I would suggest you stay as far away from any Bellamy Knox properties and businesses as possible. These people will take you for everything you've got. Also, Amanda will schedule a meeting with you and completely forget about it/your name. I second the opinion of the other reviewer here. She is incredibly rude, disrespectful of people and their time, unprofessional, and a thief. As a salesperson, I am appalled that a being such as this would be allowed to represent any business in any capacity...let alone sales. Yikes.

When we moved in, the elevators were not working, there were multiple holes in the hallway walls, and it appeared as if they had started renovating the building and stopped in the middle of it. None of these issues were fixed by the time we moved out at the end of October, and it didn't seem like they were making any moves to finish anything, other than paving the parking lots. The apartment served it's purpose as somewhere to live while we were waiting to close on our house, but if we had actually signed a lease with Bellamy Knox we would have been severely dissapointed. Minus 2 stars because the lady in the leasing office is unnecessarily rude and unfriendly.
