Bésame makes me feel like I'm at home! It gives me a sense of belonging . My husband and I dropped by for happy hour (we'd been a couple of days before) to celebrate our anniversary. The bar was packed, but Jesse went the extra mile for us! We were seated at a table, ordered a couple of mojitos, and then moved to the bar when two seats were available. Our bartender Ian remembered us !!! These guys are truly hustling! The octopus was amazing, and shrimp was tasty! Love the music and atmosphere in this restaurant!!! Thank you for a lovely evening!

I was in Steamboat Springs for one week of work. My coworker had already been here for a few weeks and knew where the good foodie spots were. So one night she recommended Besame. We were lucky enough to come during the last few minutes of Happy Hour, so of course, I ordered a glass of wine. She raved about the plantains, so we ordered that. It came with a dipping sauce, but quite frankly it didn't need it, it stood on its own. We also ordered the Cuban Bread - delicious! The Camarones Ala Plancha was great! And we also used the Cuban bread to dip into that sauce the prawns came with, so definitely order those together. We also ordered the Octopus a la Brasa - it was so tender and not overcooked and another hit! We had the Duck Wings, which were ok, not sure I would order that again. For dessert we had the Choco Taco - I didn't have any, so I can't talk about it and the Banana Bread Pudding. Seriously, that Banana Bread Pudding was super delicious, I would highly recommend ordering that to finish your meal! Overall it was a great experience, I would defintely visit again if I was in the area. Just note service was just ok, IMO.

The best restaurant in steamboat hands down. You must go. Food is delicious and tapas style. They also have a great happy hour.

Besame is a MUST try in Steamboat. It has a lively environment with amazing design, in combination with delicious and interesting food. Amongst the 5 of us, we ordered a salad, 5-6 tapas and 1 entree. My top dishes - duck wings, mussels with a DELICIOUS coconut saffron sauce, and the Thai red curry. The pricing was also very fair. We will be back!!

Nicole is wonderful. She was so good at explaining to Steve and I about all the delicious food and we had such a wonderful time. The artwork was interesting and it was wonderful.

Everything here is spectacular. Loved the short rib tapa, empanadas, and flautas! Killer pricing for the epic food. Quick service and great vibe. Birria tacos were on point! Literally was willing to go twice during this trip. It was so good.

We had such a great experience at this Latin American restaurant! The vibes were amazing and perfect for a night out. Maria was an incredible server who was attentive, friendly and made sure our table was taken care of the entire time. The tapas were delicious and generously portioned which was perfect for sharing among the five of us. We will definitely be back!!! We ordered 9 dishes with a second dish of the prawns since it was so juicy and our group favorite. We also requested Hennessy and they made us an old fashion style Hennessy which was great! Definitely had a great time!

Very nice restaurant with inviting decor and lots of real plants. Our server was really nice. I was able to make reservation reservations and get seated right away for 2 on a Saturday evening. We ordered a bunch of tapas. The masa empanadas and gyoza el pastor were very good. Although the plantains were just ok and the chicharrones tasted the same as what you can get at any Asian or Mexican grocery store so we shouldn't have chose those but honestly thought they would have an enhanced flavor. Anyways not worth it for those 2. We also got a couple of bésame tonic cocktails which were strong and well crafted. Prices were good.

We had five courses. Do yourself a favor and order the short rib and the gyoza. You're welcome.

Great service and food. This is a great dinner spot and it's close to everything. I enjoy walking downtown so take this as you will.

Stopped here on our first night in Steamboat, at recommendation from one of my daughters's friends. Food was quite good, although you will be dropping a good dime! I ordered the paella, but it was lacking enough saffron. It was a busy night for a Sunday, but we were seated fairly quickly. Service was good for a busy night. Modern but cozy decor.

Phenomenal latin fusion restaurant in Steamboat. The atmosphere in Bésame is really fun and well done. The menu is well crafted with a large variety of Tapas and other items to pick from. We got the elote, a seasonal shrimp caesar salad, as well as the charcuterie board and none of it disappointed. We highly recommend Bésame.

Excellent addition to Steamboat. Trying to find a Spanish restaurant (regardless of location) is always hard to find but this restaurant is excellent. The service is phenomenal and they are happy to help provide direction if needed. The food itself is full of flavor and it's hard to not want to order everything off the menu. My favorites were the Aji Amarillo Ceviche and the Churasco Steak. Absolutely delicious! I can't wait to visit here again!

Our waiter was personable and professional and gave some great recommendations. I had the old fashion as my cocktail choice. Not sure what bourbon they used but it was so smooth I had two. We also split the cauliflower wings and Brussel sprouts amongst five of us. The sprouts were perfect as were the wings. For dinner my friend and I split the burger (a happy hour special). I'm glad we split it as there was no way I could have eaten the whole thing. I didn't think to ask if the beef was house ground but it was really good regardless. We had pimento added, which as a southern, I appreciated the option. Would definitely be on my circuit as a casual but nice place to go.

After my first one I had to use an entire cloth napkin to clean it off my hands, and then asked for another one. When I got to the 2nd taco it was falling apart because of the mayo tsunami, I used my 2nd napkin to cleanup from this one. Then I started on number 3 there was no way to pick it up, had to use knife and fork. The Bistro Steak My wife enjoyed the seasoning, and the potatoes and veggie, she had 2 pieces left and she gave me one. One side was well done the other was rare, She ordered medium. I don't know how you could cook a 1 inch steak rare on one side and well done on the other. I didn't eat it. Finally the desert, it was really good, large cookie with ice cream - excellent. We also had coffees with desert and it was one of the better coffee's I have had in a long time. A little better quality control would have made this a great dinner

The bar area with the TV seems a little out of place, but I like sports so I'm good with it. The staff were incredibly, incredibly knowledgeable about their food. Most knowledgeable waitress I've probably ever encountered. We ordered the Wild Mushroom Arancini and Whipped Feta & Bruschetta for the table and together they were the perfect appetizer for four people. I'm usually not a fan of wild mushrooms, but it worked well with the crispy arancini. The whipped feta & bruschetta was a nice cooling change of pace, but I wish they gave you a couple more bread bits. For an entree I went with the interesting pork cheeks. They are literally pig cheeks, like the cheeks from their face. And I absolutely loved them! They reminded me a bit of chicharrones, but softer. They were supposed to be sriracha based, but I barely tasted sriracha, so that left me wanting more. The broccolini made up for it, but that's because broccoli/lini makes everything better. Definitely make this a stop when you're in Steamboat Springs.

The atmosphere strikes a nice balance between upscale and comfortable--refined without feeling overly formal. It's a great setting whether you're there for a relaxed date night or a small group dinner. The riverfront location adds a calm, scenic backdrop that makes the whole evening feel a bit more special. The service stood out as attentive and well-paced. Staff were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful suggestions without being overbearing.
