I had no idea what went into planning a wedding and all of the details that went into it. She covered everything, did not miss a thing and the wedding went off without any issues. Alexis, her assistant, was amazing on the day of the wedding and helped my daughter stay calm. I can't thank you both enough. Highly recommend them for all events.

After having daughters and friends attempt to plan my party and get nowhere due to distance and competing plans, I decided to do a party with a surprise for the guests. The surprise was something I had always hoped for but never got: A girl jumping out of a cake. I soon realized the clock was ticking and getting all the pieces together was beyond me so I did what any CEO would do, hire someone to do the work. Not so easy. Party planners are set up for weddings, not family birthday parties and certainly not girls popping out of cakes. But, not only did Confetti answer the phone (the only one who did; others took two days to never to return calls or emails), owner Liz Barbato actually jumped (ha-ha) at the chance to do something different. Plus, where I was thinking of a section of a restaurant, she was able to find an entire restaurant and put up a sign "Closed for Private Party." Pretty impressive. Everything was themed, the decorations, the food, and a cowboy duo to play. Meanwhile, finding the jumping cowgirl was anything but easy. Even though the party was G-rated (OK, maybe PG), it still took all of Liz's creativity and ingenuity to find just the right gal who would play it for laughs and fun and pose for pictures with the grandkids. In other words, Liz made my birthday wish come true. And, all at about half the cost of the only other bidder. Next big birthday, I know who I'm going to call. Unless, you have her booked already.

But besides that this place has probably the best customer service I've ever experienced with any business! We rented from them and I forgot to get the linens after I even looked at the paperwork and signed for it. After returning to work to do some last-minute close up I realized that I didn't get the linens. I called their location and they were so quick in responding that I was able to return there after hours and pick up my linens. I even had three different people from that location. Call me to check on me to apologize. It made me feel good and lessened my stress for the event that I was planning, but I am partially to blame for this. I truly appreciate all of the help and their customer service! I highly recommend renting from this location! I'm not sure if they do this all the time or experience this all the time, but my experience was truly nothing less than five stars. Thank you to everyone there that helped me!

This allowed the sharp ends needing to be wrapped so as not to damage the patio floor. I then started to set up the chairs, I soon discovered that the chairs were extremely dirty and scuffed. It was even necessary to sanitize the chairs due to some type of substance on several chairs. The chairs came wrapped in plastic so this surprised me that they were so dirty. We will certainly think twice before using this company again.

Love coming here for community events! The Dunbar holds a great significance to the black Tucson…read morecommunity as it was Tucson's segregated school for African American students until desegregation in 1951, and I'm glad to see that it's being preserved and utilized to uplift the community in the current day. There's multiple events held here monthly, including The Slide Society's line dance classes on Thursday nights at 6PM, which I really enjoy! In addition to this, there's also the barbershop and school that lives here, a healthy food prep restaurant I think, various community classes, and even the "Connections That Count" events that take place at 5 PM every first Wednesday that target, various themes and aim to build a better community (ABC) through fellowship and networking. There's really so many great things to say about the Dunbar and community events that occur here! Definitely worth checking out.

Currently it serves as a community center, a school, a barber academy, and it rents space out to artists and dancers and educators and even a publishing house! They have some great community programs and I was there for the Free Vegan Cooking class. The speaker, I believe her name is Rosie Kennedy, was great; equal parts knowledgeable and warm and engaging. She broke down a topic that can be daunting and demo'd a couple of recipes. Highly recommend signing up for any of her future programs if they (hopefully!!) have them. The space itself is not great for a cooking lecture because it's not a kitchen. The speaker did an amazing job, especially with all the constraints but she could have really benefitted from a more functional set-up. The room feels like its seen better days but they do have this super cool canvas wrapped around 2 of the walls that documents the history of the local African American community and the Dunbar. All in all I really appreciate having this resource in the community and look forward to their future programs!

For starters, their online catallogue needs to be updated. Customers can visit their showroom, which I did not, so for the online ordering types, they really should update their online catalgoue to refect what they actyally stock. Alot of the colors listed for the linens they didnt have at all, which was frustrating. The woman I placed my ordere with was very nice, but also has room for improvement with regards to attention to detail. They delivered the items to my next door neighbors, thankfully, they called me and it was an easy fix and they weren't sent across town to the wrong place. Their tables are in very poor condition. The wood is old, chipped, and snags on the linens, which I didn't love, but once they were covered it was all good. THe delivery and pick up teams were cordial and super fast. Very easy to work with. I'd consider ordering from here again, but perhaps may stop by their showroom first to see what they have in stock, versus having to go back and forth over the phone, requesting photos, etc. That was a little cumbersome.
