But All the stuff is very experienced and give consistently great cuts. **Be warned they don't take walk ins 30mins before closing**. Arrived 0755 on a Tuesday, happily waited 5 mins for them to open. Patiently waited 10 more mins for them to open. Begrudgingly waited another 10 mins for them to open. Nobody ever showed up. Sign confirms they open at 0800, 6 days a week. I suppose they do so well here that they open whenever they want...but I cant afford to wast my time on a place this care free. read more

Don't let the outside and area fool you, June, one of the ladies who cut my hair did an absolutely amazing job, with probably the best medium fade I've seen, she took her time and was very thorough despite being extremely busy. Best barber shop? Laziest barber shop if you ask me. They will turn you away an hour before closing time. Never stopping by here again. My son and husband would get their hair cut regularly here before they changed their hours but they just lost a loyal customer for good. read more

I've been going here for the past 1.5 years now and I'm always more than satisfied! They usually add a complimentary vibrating massage in the end, all for a good price. I've been coming here off and on for about 7 years with my son. Awesome haircuts, great fades. I've been to other similar barbershops and they always want to give you high and tight fades. Not here. I recommend Ms. Esther. She works Mon, Wed-Saturday. This lady knows her hair cuts and will verify what you want. Strongly recommend. DO NOT GO HERE. I've never had such bad haircuts before coming to this place. The first time I got my hair cut here, the lady took a huge chunk out of my eyebrow and made my ear bleed. I had to go get my hair fixed somewhere else and had to get my eyebrows completely reshaped at a Waxing the City (which is a great place btw). The next time I needed my hair cut, I decided to give this place another try. After all, everybody has a bad day every now and then. I got a different person than I had in my prior visit, bit this ended up being a mistake as I received another terrible haircut. Again, I had to get my hair fixed elsewhere. After getting my haircut at another barber shop the next couple of times, I decided to give this place yet another chance. I went in to get my hair cut today and instructed the barber very clearly to hopefully avoid another mishap, but she didn't listen and pretty much buzzed my entire head. I requested a "slight cleanup" and specifically instructed her to not take any length off the top. Guess what she did... she took the buzzer straight to the top and now 3 inches of hair is gone ‍ Then when I told them I wasn't satisfied and wasn't going to pay because they didn't listen to how I told them to cut my hair, they started yelling at me in another language for several minutes before reluctantly letting me leave. TL;DR Don't go here. They did not listen to what I wanted during any of my three visits and they likely won't listen to what you want either. They seem to just do whatever they want. Been looking for a new barber for about a year since my last one past away. Had tied this place years ago but didn't have any luck but thought I'd try it again since the were under new ownership. So, I took my son here as I have the last 4 haircuts because the lady with the short mushroom cut hair with glasses always does a great job. Now in previous times I could sense the attitude when we walk in but this time Monday 22nd of July was the worst experience ever. First I now say for sure they don't like doing African American hair. Whenever we come we have to wait for this one lady who again always seems to have an attitude with us. I also make sure to let them know that my son is Autistic and has sensory issues. On the 22nd we came in and were next in line but when we went to go to the seat the lady said to wait for the other lady and made hand signals in reference to my sons hairline (shapeup). I politely waited and when the lady was ready I said the same thing I say every time I come 1 on the sides 2 on top. She then goes to mutter "now you want different you get one way and y'all always want something different". First off i am paying for this so who cares how i want it ( again i said the same thing i say everytime 1 on sides 2 on top) She then precedes to take a chunk out of my sons hair on the side and says that's 1 and then does the same at the top saying that's 2. Right then I should have cursed her racist butt out but I'm bigger than that and have my son with me. I show her a picture of what she had done before in which she mutters "oh so now you want short". Me, trying to stay cool, continues to praise her by saying "no do it how you normally do, you always do amazing". The whole haircut she has a look of pure disgust on her face. My son begins to squirm and jerk due to his autism ( noise from clippers and feel from them) in which she say "don't be a baby this just haircut" and then asks how old he is. I tell her 8 in which she says "8 is big boy you don't cry like baby". We finish finally and I go to pay ( she still has look of disgust on face) then I realize they have a sign saying please try to bring cash. I try to apologize because I'm using a card and this is my first time seeing this sign in which her look of disgust gets worse. Even though we received this horrible treatment I still tipped $5 because I know with my son being autistic it is a challenge for them. I say thank you and have a nice day she says nothing and again looks at me with disgust. So during the whole time we were there I watched her say, politely, to each person that came and left Hello and Goodbye. Terrible and they should be ashamed of themselves. Now I have to find another place to take my child because we definitely don't deserve to be treated like thay. Beware of you are African American or anyone getting anything other than a normal haircut. read more

After about 7 years of going to this place with good consistent hair cuts, I have finally given up. They just seamed to mess up more than I find acceptable. I have since found a new location that has done a great job and I will stick with them until they prove otherwise. You lost a customer Best Barber. read more

Have used this place for over 20 years. Ownership has changed a few times. All the barbers have done good jobs at trims. the place frequently has a short wait. You can ask for your favorite barber and the prices are good. Give it a try. Ken read more
